MedSpring Urgent Care - Uptown Dallas reviews
20The front desk person was awesome! Super nice and funny. The PA and nurse I also had were great. Very thorough and took the time for my needs to help me with what I have going on. Highly recommended this urgent care if you can’t get into your doctor. Also, very clean and well taken care of it.
Cut my finger pretty badly trimming the hedges March 13th, 2021. Hubby and I showed up at 7: 30pm on a Saturday. The blade trimmer cut straight through the nailbed and chipped the bone. Got my tetanus shot, finger cleaned up, sanitized, xray, antibiotics prescribed, finger sling and VIP treatment all within an hour. They didn't mind staying past closing time to serve!
The entire staff was amazing and all women. I felt so much better because they took their time with me and were gentle. I was in so much pain.
Thank you,
Toy
I hope they keep up the good work!
I completely destroyed my ankle a few months back (displaced trimalleolar fracture). Instead of going to the regular hospital emergency that would charge 10 times more for everything while still being referred to an orthopedic surgeon (they wouldn’t operate immediately unless it is a compound fracture or something more serious).
Everyone was very helpful and understanding at this carenow location. The care and preliminary diagnosis were given promptly and correctly. They provided me with everything I needed to be somewhat functional until I saw a surgeon. And their billing was clear and more than reasonable. They were on top of it.
Personally, I have never encountered a better, more professional urgent clinic. Thank you!
Terrible experience. It took 2 hours for me just to see the doctor. Hated every minute of this place. Worst care I’ve ever gotten. Do. Not. Go. Here.
I went there today and felt like I was in the right place the whole time. Karolyn Ryan did a fantastic job helping me out and showed a lot of sympathy towards my sickness. I’m still sick but at least I had a peace of mind knowing I was in the right place. Will definitely come back! (Hopefully not soon). But you know what I mean.
Called and said there was a 20 min wait. Went there and 20 mins turned into an hour. Front desk guy was extremely rude. Should not be the face of your clinic
I am from out of town for a conference, and unfortunately have a sinus infection. Not wanting to wait longer to take care of it, I booked an appointment online. The check-in staff was very friendly, including helping me locate a pharmacy, as I am unfamiliar with the area. The clinic was clean, and the nurse and doctor were both professional and attentive. The doctor even had a dry wit, which is appreciated. All information was explained, and she was able to get the prescription I needed.
As for the wait times, check-in to office was quicker than I typically experience in an urgent clinic. The wait-time in the office was par for what I have experienced at other clinics. If I could give a 4.5, I would, as with a standard overall wait-time a 5 probably wouldn't fit.
The check in process was smooth. I enjoyed the beverage and snack options provided. The medical staff were attentive and thorough.
Terrible! The front desk person was so mean. He was yelling at me and I was already sick with fever and bronchitis. I had been there three times before that but this time was by far the worst. The guy at the front desk should be fired. I left and will never go back.
So rude. I was made to feel like a bother. I got a lot of eye rolls. I’m only writing this because I got an email stating “thanks for the 5 star review” when I know I never wrote one. Clearly the nurses here are desperate and are faking any 5 stars they receive. I’ll do my own review, thank you.
These people are f_ awesome! Seriously! They treated me so well today, any time I need care and my dr. Isn't available. Im going to them!
I went to this location 4 days and had flu symptoms. Was not given any medication but charged my copay.
4 days later I feel worse and back and have to pay again.
Be careful
Front desk lady was very nice and the check in process was fast. Nurse was quick and doctor was nice as well. Whole process from walk in to out the door was about an hour.
Front desk girl was well above average. Fast attention and efficient. Best experience I've had at an at urget care facility. Especially nice is that follow-up visits were free to get bandage changed since I couldn't really reach it myself to change it.
I called ahead of time to ask about the hours and if a doctor was working. I explained I had been in a car wreck and was taking Lyft to the clinic. I was told to come on there was no wait. When I arrived there the girl at the front desk told me they did not accept patient s that had been in auto accidents. Seriously? The nurse and PA heard this exchange and said nothing. I can't believe the level of incompetence at this clinic. I had to call Lyft again and go to City Doc.
I love this place! I've been twice and I'm always in and out within 30 min. They're always so sweet and very fast. When you can't make it to the doctor, this is definitely the place to go.
This urgent care is the best I have ever experienced, hands down. They work very nicely as a supplement to your regular doctor. For instance if it's the weekend and you have an issue, they are there. You then can report back to your doctor. The people helping you are super smart and personable as well. I have always been taken care of promptly and in the most caring way. I could not be happier.
I have a digital copy of my Aetna insurance card. Apparently that is not acceptable. Stuck in the 19th century.
I will be surprised if they stay in business. The front desk seemed disinterested and didn't want to help. I was sent away as they would not accept my PPO and refused self pay.
I am giving two stars for the convenience of location and the quick check in process. I was otherwise disappointed in this visit and will not be returning to this location. Also, be aware that the copay is very high- I ended up paying $65 for a 20 minute visit (with BCBS insurance).
