MELT Ice Creams - Sundance reviews
16 Super RECOMMENDED by local residents. I went to discover and try it.
Tasty and quality ice cream
Incredible ice cream! I had the Texas butter pecan ice cream in their waffle cone of the month and it was phenomenal. Hope to be in the DFW area soon to hit this place up again!
Overrated and bad quality control on their pints. I ordered the Peachy Keen on Uber eats as a late night dessert. The ice cream was rock hard like that lonely pint you forgot in your freezer that has been thawed and refrozen several times over. This is by no means a premium product and pints that can be purchased at your local grocery store are miles better. I DO NOT recommend buying if you are ordering for delivery or pre-packaged products where you can’t inspect the quality of the product. I travel for work all over the country and my one guilty pleasure is I enjoy a good ice cream wherever I travel and MELT failed miserably.
Amazing ice cream. Mind you, it's a little expensive but it is so worth the cost like I wasn't even expecting it to be that good.
They have dairy free ice cream. They were quick to answer my question about such, gave me a sample and sizes are decent. Cones aren’t vegan tho. My dairy free chocolate ice cream tasted like pudding!
A nice alternative to the corporate ice cream companies. Very Unique and reasonably priced
Great ice cream, expensive, but very much worth it. Made my afternoon visit to Sundance Square really nice. My dog liked it to.
Omgggggg, I need 1 in oklahoma. I'm gf&pf, so this was amazing. The taste was incredible. It's nice having so many options.
It's worth the 4 hour train ride to get for me
A good solid 4. To reach 4.5 or 5, there has to be more.
Quality and quantity were adequate.
Listed as handmade/gourmet ice cream, I was interested in what they believed this to be.
I have had the best "handmade" ice cream in the US and gelato while in Italy. Most of which are not shipped in a box to the retailer.
The uniqueness of handmade and gourmet products stands alone when it comes to that touch to the taste buds. The tip of your tongue where the sweetness buds are located will always let you know when you truly taste that next level product.
The ice cream is good on some levels but does not reach that labeling.
It being Tuesday, I had the Taco Tuesday Sundae. The young did a great putting it together. So there are no issues there. The price of $7.04 was not bad for the "area" and location. So, it's not really an issue.
I do recommend this place for ice cream.
It did fit the calling of ice cream on a Texas hot day.
Enjoy and cheers.
Not a good value for the money. Ice cream was tasty, but cost over $4 (over $5 with tip) for a single scoop that didn't even fill up the TINY cup. >$1 bite =
In and out very quickly. Ice cream was amazing. Got the Boozy Buccaneer. I would go back for that alone.
The girl working was just awful. Didn’t even get to try the ice cream. The door was unlocked so we walked in. The girl yelled at us that they aren’t open yet (we were 5 min early). She was on her phone and couldn’t be bothered to greet us or let us know she would be with us in a few minutes. This isn’t the only ice cream shop in downtown Ft. Worth. Interestingly enough, we found the cutest place with such nice owners a short walk away called La’Creamian which I highly recommend.
Absolutely love the Blueberry lemon pie! Love the salt lick had that one last yr it’s been that long since I’ve been there “Shame on me “ went today5-30-2023 it was fab as always! Thanks
LOL, by the time I got to the trolley my ice cream was melted. My Coffee ice cream scoop was great. My Peanut Butter not what I expected. It might have been better with a full scoop and on a cone or in one.
Two high end food service companies failed me tonight, but some minimum wage teenager at Melt understood vegan concerns and made my life better. Thanks kid.
Yum yum yummy! The Salt Lick and Cup of TX are my absolute favorite. The ice cream is soooo creamy and good. The homemade vanilla waffle cone ties it all together to make it heaven. Word to the wise, if you do get a cone, I suggest getting a cup and spoon as well because Salt Lick is kinda runny.
