Memorial Hermann Medical Group Pearland

A few weeks ago I scheduled a new patient appointment for the end of august to see Dr. Telati. About a week later I receive a call from the office saying she will no longer be there for the day of my appointment. I was not upset because they called early enough in advance. Right then I rescheduled my appointment for today at 1: 30, and have since then received an email confirmation and a call to confirm (they had to leave a voicemail since I could not answer at work). I arrive at the office 30 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork. The receptionist had asked for my information to check in and then says that they tried to call me yesterday to have me reschedule since the dr does not see patients at 1: 30 anymore. I expressed my frustration since I did not receive a call, voicemail nor email from the office. The receptionist claims that it would not let her leave a voicemail even though I do not have a full voicemail box. I asked to be put for the next available appointment and she says it isn’t until mid October. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of respect of their patient’s time and will not be making a future appointment here.

I have been looking for a new physician in the area. I scheduled an appointment online as a new patient for Dr. Saul Torres on July 20th at 1pm. I wasnt able to get in until August 24th. I did expect that it would be a few weeks or more as a new patient. I did not expect to be called today at 4pm to confirm the appointment just to be told he only sees new patients at 7: 20am. I requested a half day off work and I'm just expected evening before to take the 7: 20am. I scheduled online so if he only sees new patients at 7: 20am than why was 1: 00pm available. Why wouldn't I been able to be seen when I have a 1pm with him already? Why reschedule an appointment as a new patient when I've already done that over a month ago. I have two emails since July 20th when I first scheduled to remind me of my appointment. In the notes of that email are instructions for new patients to arrive 30 minutes early. Why are those notes there under my 1: 00pm appointment? I canceled the appointment and glad I found out early how he treats patients and their time.

The wound care doctor (Dr. Akbar) was poor when it came to explaining care, expediting my healing, and never saw me more than two minutes each visit, I truly wish I saw someone else. Her staff was fine/helpful, as well her nurses.

Dr. CRUMBIE IS VERY FRIENDLY AND EXPERIENCED. HE ANSWERS ALL YOUR QUESTIONS AND GIVES YOU HONEDT FEED BACK. I CERTAINLY DONT WANT TO HAVE KNEE SURGERY AGAIN BUT, IF I DO HE WILL DEFINETLEY BE THE FIRST ONE I GO SEE.

If I could put zero stars, I would. Do NOT go here. I’m stuck because of my insurance. The doctor and her assistant that I see here are extremely rude. They go out of their way to be as difficult as possible. And of course, who doesn’t want to be lectured, berated, and basically be accused of lying by their medical staff when it’s their mistake. I used to love it here. Checking my insurance for ANY other option.

Horrible hospital. If you have an emergency or feel terrible please pass up this place and go else where. I went here after a car accident and i could barely walk or anything and they told me to just take advil.had to go to a different hospital later on still had pain for a month or 2. Then my mother went here for the flu.they just gave her antibotics that didn't help.she went back even though i told her not too and go to a different hospital.they did nothing yet again and released her even though her blood pressure was extremely high. Don't go here you will do better going elsewhere. One day and i don't wish anything bad on anyone. But someone is going to end up worse or dying due to the negligence of this hospital.
