Update: Your Director, Edmund Lee, advised me to make sure both my PCP & specialist were involved with my care in the future, so that is precisely what I did. I was in observation again 2/26 - 2/28/20, and everything went quite well. Thank you!

Earlier today, I gave glowing reviews for this hospital. Unfortunately, I just got chewed out by my hospitalist, Dr. Ali Hussein. When I filed a complaint & asked my nurse to be my advocate, she sided with the Dr. (said she knows him). Now, I am leaving in tears, not knowing where to go from here regarding my health.

Absolute worst hospital ever. Came here at 3: 30pm cause my fiancé had a seizure and we have yet to be seen and here it is 9 pm almost 9: 30. If I could give this hospital zero stars I would.

I have been here for 5 days with my mother, and I have to say that these have been the nicest people I have ever encountered in a hospital. The care that they have given my mother is a 10 in my book. Even with all the craziness and constant changes due to the virus that the staff is going through. Everyone has been very professional. Thank You for the excellent care.

Im saddened by the procedure there. Inhave to admit nice people but if you are not dying they send you home with the same problems you came in for. Two days I went to a 24 hour emergency room due to not being able to walk, they did a CT scan on my lower body. Results came back that the radiologist raised some concerns about glands being on my cervix area. 2nd doctor came in and found out I had blood clots in the past and wanted another CT scan. So after 4 hours went by they did another CT scan.they told me no blood clots or anything but needed more testing done and ordered me to go to Herman Memori Woodlands as a transfer to get to the bottom of things. They transferred me on ambulance and got there to a doctor telling me I have a blood clot in my heart. I was shocked because the 24 hour emergency said there was none. A few hours past and 2 other doctors came in to leave their card. I didnt think anything of it. A while day go by and NO TESTING DONE AT ALL. I asked the nurse why Im just sitting there and she said she didnt know thatbeveryone already came by. Now granted they were giving me blood thinner shot BUT the purpose of me being transferred was to get in a solution of things. Another day went by. Nithing. At this point I knew it was money. The nurse said if they don't feel like its an emergency then they see you as a iut patient. Its sad because Im still limping and chest hurt hard to breath. How can this not be taking seriously. I cant sleep without it hurting. Why are we treated like a number?

I recently had Open Heart Bypass Surgery here. My cardiologist, Dr. Gustavo Grieco and Heart Surgeon, Dr. Maniscalco were absolutely incredible. Both VERY attentive and detail oriented. As you can imagine it's a process between all the testing, appointments and prep work before and after surgery. In addition, I had complications (My body reacting to surgery) after and even through it all, I could not have asked for better care. Everyone involved was so kind and helpful. Yes, some people are a bit short but never rude. Sometimes that is just their personality. All in all, everything was great and I still go to Cardiac Therapy and of course all the girls are so great.

I would give zero stars if I could. This is by far the WORST ER I have ever been to. The front desk/triage is SUPER disorganized. I was supposed to have a CT scan but they had a bad IV stick (mind you it was the third try) and the saline burned like crazy so they brought me back up and I sat for over an hour waiting for them to restick the IV they messed up, all the shoe they were seeing new patients and other patients that had come in after me. Finally a really nice nurse named Remington got a sonogram machine and the 4th stick was good enough, but in the over 2 hours it took to fix their mess, they moved other patients ahead of me. I spent over 8.5 hours in the waiting room, but when it came time to dishchsrge, they moved me back to s room to make wait even more, even though everything was finalized over 3 hours before! Totally worthless and disorganized ER. Go somewhere else if you need help!

If I could give them ZERO stars I would.
Do not go here. There is St. Luke’s ER down the road that we should have gone to BEFORE the nightmare at Memorial Hermann happened.

Left my husband undiagnosed.
Too many people doing different tests that they don’t even know why you’re there even when you’ve been there for hours.
We went in at 1 PM and didn’t leave until 9PM bc they would not discharge us or give the test results to take them somewhere else. The whole time we were sitting in the waiting room. We never got roomed or taken back to a room for more than 10 minutes.
My husbands pain was left untreated with Doctor Bublewicz (aka Doctor Jerkawicz). Why did you get a medical degree Bublewicz? You did nothing to help but sound condescending and insincere and every time we tried to tell you some piece of information you thought you knew better than the person feeling the pain and ignored him. Gooooood job. Hope that degree serves you as well as karma will.

They will not tell you if they have no rooms available until you’re sitting there for hours, they will not help you transfer any information to another hospital, even if it’s Memorial Hermann at a different location. This place is awful. It’s where you can go if you’re in pain and want absolutely nothing done about it. They are stealing your money by doing numerous tests where they don’t include contrast to see any actual results.
During shift change matters only got worse. I want to highlight that the nurse left my husband in the receptionist chair upfront and began removing his IV (which was only for Zofran) and then stopped, left without a word while leaving him next to biohazard bags full of urine to come back and say the doctor needed another test that we completed when we arrived at 1pm! She did not ask, she had told us moments before we were getting discharged. We did not consent to the test but she thought she had a right to try to redo the IV while she had our discharge papers sitting on the table next to us. Riddle me this Batman? Why the heck is a place like Memorial Hermann ER open?
It’s dirty, the vending machines don’t even work if you’re stuck there for 8 hours, it’s filled with staff that could NOT care less, and they don’t treat you, they test you, they poke you, they leave you in pain but they DO NOT TREAT YOUR ILLNESS AT MEMORIAL HERMANN.
Save your pennies and go to St Luke’s, or any other emergency room because memorial will only make your problems worse.

In my entire life I have not witnessed anything like in this hospital and I am just the wife who took her sick husband there. The wait so far 9 HOURS 9 hours and multiple tests with zero results, meanwhile my husband is sitting there patiently since 9 hours in pain extremly high fever and high blood pressure sweating to death slowly. We are surounded by people who have the flu, who vomit and cry in pain. 9 hours it took to do a ct scan and get some blood work and urin test done. Meanwhile I read web MD to find what I might think is wrong with my husband then I have to point this out to the on call doc who then decided to go forward and do a ultrasound because he never even did think this far! We are in our 10th hour in the lobby now and all I can say is WORST HOSPITAL THAT I EVER HAD TO VISIT! Do yourself and your loved one a favor and go somewhere else!

I was admitted into memorial Herman woodlands yesterday evening due to a TBI/concussion. 90% of my doctors went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of promptly and properly.

EXCEPT FOR COURTNEY ON FLOOR 4! I have never been so disappointed in a nurses treatment in my life. She was extremely disrespectful, was constantly 30 minutes later than her said appointment time. Even had the audacity to tell my wife (whom is a doctorate of physical therapy, much above a nursing degree) that she did not know what she was speaking about. (Even though she has been a TBI specialist at TEIR, one of the top TBI hospitals in the WORLD!)

Courtney also was rude to my parents as well as visitors. She even got angry if we had any questions for her, whether it was asking what type of medicine it was, or and astablished timeline. It is sad that some of these people’s last moments on this earth will be spent with her condescending, disgusting, selfish, attitude. I truly pray she is either inducted into customer/patient communication classes so she can learn to be a better nurse, or let go.

Moving forward, this will be the last time my family, including my children, my parents, and my grandparents, will visit this hospital due to the appalling service we received from Courtney. I will also be filling out a report with the Texas department of nursing as I do not believe any patient deserves the miss treatment provided by this character.

Editing and updating this now as we have been STUCK in our room for OVER SEVEN HOURS after we were told we would be able to released shortly before 9am. It is like these nurses (COURTNEY) do not care about their patients that are not a life or death situation. I will never return to this location rude to her terrible work ethic and attitude. Letimetelty makes me sick that she cannot even handle doing her basic job with complaints/delays.

DO NOT ATTEND MEMORA HERMAN! I’ve received more prompt service from a child selling lemonade.

Where do I begin. I'll start with the lack of rooms being available to patients. I had to wait in the waiting room with other patients and their families. Call me crazy but no sick individual should have to endure the noise and the being uncomfortable while in pain or needing medical attention. The amount of time waiting was completely ridiculous. On top of that a member of the ER staff blatantly came unto the waiting room floor and asked me for a urine sample out loud in front of everyone. There is no sense of privacy whatsoever. I will be lodging a formal complaint. Smd to think they want to charge $500 copay just for an ER visit. What am I paying for? Clearly it wasn't comfort or privacy. Or a speedy visit with an actual doctor. Highly unsatisfied with how this location is ran.

Disrespectful the nurse was flirting and sweet talking to my husband while I was the sick patient. Please do not go here the nurse are way to busy flirting and talking to other woman's husband. Very unprkunprofess she offer my husband water to drink while I was in pain and neglected. How unprofessional to flirt with an marry man. Have some respect.

03/21/2019 well what can I say I'm so disappointed in this hospital my mom was admitted here I would say about 8pm or so and its 3: 00 am in the morning and they still haven't put her in a room yet and I'm here sitting in a single chair and just can't sleep in these chairs at all its freezing in the room even when I asked the nurse to warm it some it just doesn't get warm so here we are so uncomfortable I went to throw moms tissues in the trash and it's just discusting to look into that trash can there was blood samples in it trash up to the rim so nasty. When I went to the bathroom it was so dirty I walked out so I went to the other restroom here in the er because I saw the cleaning lady had just cleaned it but makes me wonder what they get paid for because that kind of cleaning is so poor I mean you could tell the rags that are use must be dirty because you can tell where she wiped was still dirty looking at the mirrow was not clean it was still so dirty. I just cant believe it! In the future I will not pick this hospital memorial herman in the Woodlands

This hospital is definitely ZERO STAR for poor service and unprofessionalism. I chose this place to give birth and I still cannot believe how the nurses treated me during and after this whole unfortunate ordeal. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND the Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Woodlands. I picked this place because it was known as one of the top medical care but instead I was neglected to the point where I suffered from Sepsis and Stage 3 Hypovolemic Shock from Postpartum Hemorrhage!

I was treated so bad afterward, to the point where the nurses made me cried like I was the worst mother ever for things I didn’t know about. I won’t go into detail because it’s a long story. Just know that I was still treated unfairly after the most traumatic experience of my life! I recommend Houston Methodist Hospital instead.

We had to wait over 7hrs before my wife was placed on an IV. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. Do not come to this ER if you are in dire need of medical attention. You have a 10% chance of being seen.

We been using this hospital ever since we moved to Texas in 2003. We always have good experiences either emergency visit or outpatient Surgery. My husband has TBI since this past June and we always bring him to Er, Er Doctor and nurses are excellent! Thank you to Dr. J Brown, Dr. Rushing and the rest of the staff at Er. The Ingalls Family!

Worst ER experience ever. Stay as far away as possible from this place unless you like to be in pain and ignored. Nurses in ER do not care about patients, ignored my request for help and overall were rude and condescending. When I asked for bedsheets the nurse looked at me as if she didn’t know what they were. And then made a condescending remark when she brought them. I’ve been a patient of this hospital before but never in ER. What a nightmare. I checked myself out.
