Memorial Park reviews
21Great park to walk run ride bikes and bring the kids to play. There trails, picnic areas, kids playground, pavillions for events, water fountains, and a lake!
Lots of trails to walk or run. Restrooms and water bottle refill stations, covered rest areas, make this the perfect place to get a workout in or a relaxing walk. Make sure to check out the nature trails in the middle of the park.
It was so much fun. The only downside was the purple trail was closed so we sent a while circling.
Best municipal golf course in houston area. Excellent pro shop. PGA teachers on site. Ask for todd echols. Also wonderful restaurant, with great burgers and a large menu.
The best place, in Houston, for outdoor running. Its crushed granite running pathways help you to give longevity to your knees. It is also a good place for golfing, playing tennis and leisure people watching.
This park is huge but pretty clean! I came here with my friends just to take a stroll and it was relaxing as we expected. My T-mobile phone had no service for the most part though, so I could not play Pokémon Go haha. But otherwise I was pretty satisfied with the park’s cleanliness, the scenery, the plants, and the facilities.
My husband loves the driving range and it's a nice place for walking or running. I don't love that a significant stretch of the trail runs right beside Memorial- the cars and noise don't make for a relaxing walk. But the improvements they're making to the trail and park are great, adding more bathrooms and scenic additions.
Needs to pave the track around the park instead of the gravel. Very messy when you going for a jog around the park. Nice park that can really stand out for Houston. The city needs to stop being cheap
Was enjoying a lunch in the truck with my wife in a great secluded lot. Maintenance decided that coming by with a blower to clean the leaves was worth interrupting our moment.
Memorial Park is an outstanding park for families children it has a huge bike trail which is phenomenal and has walking trails that carry on all the way from memorial Park 610 area all the way to the wortham center you can go on bicycle they have bike rentals there they have restaurants that are close by public restrooms it's very good for family outings.
Just Love Memoral Park. This is my favorite time of the year to go because is Hot. Love the outdoors, see people working out.
Memorial park is a great pace to visit. Its part of my route when Im riding my mountain bike. The main reason I go to the park is to see people actively involved in each others lives.
For most of the part no technology required.
I would suggest to anyone to go to memorial park.
Such a great place to bring the family. Or to walk your dog or go on a date. The possibilities of the park are endless. Theres so much wide open green spaces where you can have a picnic or throw around a frisbee. A great place to just sit and read a book. There is also the museum and zoo nearby for more entertainment and they offer pedal boats to freshen up during the summer. Remember to feed the ducks only seeds and not break please!
My favorite place to run in Houston. Cant wsit to see all the improvements! Make sure to hide your valuables, thieves do target here!
Looking good after a ruff year of drought then devastating effects from Harvey flood. Good job Houston for keeping one of the best parks in town great. Houston Strong!
Great place for all your outdoor fitness activities.especially if you like to walk, jog, or run.
Fantastic park! I regularly cycle from my apartment to the park where they have a designated cycle trail. Always lots of things going on in the park too
You come, you park, warm up and run. Water every mile and plenty of people to pass or be passed by. Houston's most used and best public park.
Convenient 3 mile run, not so shaded so can get warm. Plenty of parking, outside training equipment available. Restrooms also available. Can get busy. Water for adults, children and pets around the loop. Popular to go walking too. Some people bring pets.
