Menchie's, Houston TX

I love Menchie's and I come here frequently. Unfortunately, the young man who was working there made me uncomfortable and was not welcoming at all. I might start going to YogurtLand instead

This is by far the best location around, great customer service and everything is always fresh, I drive here from Katy just for the service!

On a different day I would rate this store higher but this is the first time the cashier made me VERY uncomfortable. He made it seem like children were not welcome. He hovered over the register to see what my children were doing when they were serving their toppings. I was very careful to make sure my children would not touch toppings with their bare hands but all this cashier would do was hover over the register from one side to the other to make sure my kids weren't touching anything. He made it very obvious and uncomfortable for me as a parent who has taught her children to not touch anything before we pay. My children were not unsupervised, they were excited like they always are when we come here.

Nice, clean establishment. They were out of some yogurt flavors, but thankfully not my favorite.

I love menchie's and this is the location that is closest to me. Every time I go here they are out of stock on something. I asked the cashier for a waffle bowl because none were out. He said they didn't have any.didn't even offer to make one. He was very inattentive. No one was even in the front when I walked in. Tonight, the ALL fruit looked brownish.like it has been sitting there all day. There weren't any sample cups out. I have to ask for them. I'm not sure what is going on at this location but my goodness. Good customer service goes a long way!
*** This may be strange but I come to Menchie's for the Cake Batter and caramel topping. They were completely out tonight. If there was a sign saying "out" I wouldn't have made the cup of yogurt. The cashier made it seem like it had been out for a while. A simple sign would have stopped me from wasting my money. ***

The Frozen Yogurt was good, but the service was terrible. I paid for my yogurt, but the cashier was busy and didn’t give me my money back. I forgot about it, but on the way home i realized they didn’t give me 11 dollars back. I called them prior to returning to the store, but when i got there, the cashier told me that he gave us the money back. He called the manager for me to talk to, and then the manager said that she SAW me put the money into my wallet through the security cameras. I demanded to see the footage and that it be sent to my number, and the manager agreed, yet she never did. This is a reminder, DO NOT use cash, use a card and request for the receipt. A bad experience in general.

Good atmosphere, decent prices, and very friendly staff. We will be back! Loved that they had crunch berries as a topping!

The family really enjoyed Menchie's very affordable the kids love making their own ice cream /frozen yogurt

We showed up right at closing and the owner was kind enough to let us in. That's service and kindness that you cant find anymore.

First time ever trying Menchie’s and this location is the closest to me. As I walked it was a clean and colorful establishment. Everything was stocked up and had a variety of toppings. Only reason why I’m not giving this place 5 stars was due to the cashier. I could not hear her at all when I asked a one simple question. I was paying for three yogurts and I had two ready that she had already weighed. As I was waiting for the last cup of yogurt, I wanted to add one more topping and I asked her if it was okay to add an extra topping. This place was empty, so I would’ve understood if it was packed and wouldn’t had asked her the question. When I was waiting for her response I could barely hear her and she said it was too late. So it was hard to start the whole weighing process again apparently. I just wished she spoke up and had a smile on her face at least. Working for a fast food restaurant for 3 years customer service is the #1 priority. Probably next time there will be a different cashier with more enthusiasm.

Friendly place. They keep it clean. Not dirty, like that TCBY on Westheimer-Royal Oaks. I've been here several times now, and it has always been clean, and the yogurt has always tastes fresh. Plus, they have a loyalty card, where you really do earn quickly enough to get free items.

The yogurt is delicious and the sheer number of topping options is enough to make any adult feel like a kid in a candy store! A little pricey, but well worth it for a delicious treat with the kids!

Very clean and cute store. The toppings were organized well and there was a large variety of them. I wish they carried more fruit flavors, they only had three (mango, pineapple and strawberry), but if you like chocolate and flavors similar to this, then you will be very happy.

Very clean! Good options and I like the way they have their toppings set up. Doesnt seem to get messy. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.

New York Cheesecake & Coconut was great down to my soul. Clean, Snackage bar, and plenty of seating. I thought I would get a cup of water, but they only sell bottled. Happy Saturday.

First time today and I loved it. Really clean and friendly staff. Decent flavor options and I liked the mixed swirl options to get a blend of 2 flavors. Will definitely be returning.

I love coming here until an older lady with a short hair was there. Obviously doesn't know how to deal with toddlers, no greet, no smile. Just frowning the entire time we were there. Great service makes a great impact, a smile goes a long way.

Always changing their flavors and have an array of different toppings would recommend on a hot day
