Mesquite Arts Center reviews
8I love this place. It has many activities in the community. They provide arts-n-crafts for kids. My granddaughter and I enjoy the time together doing arts-n-crafts. And I enjoy the free concerts. Staff is super welcoming.
This place brought me to tears; I tried to film myself walking around and reading it aloud without getting all choked up, but that proved incapable. There is a portion of a steel beam from one of the Twin Towers along with plaques that are time stamped with the events that followed, creating this piece of twisted and melted metal. I remember that day all too well, as I watched the 2nd plane fly into the 2nd tower on live TV, here in Dallas on Sept. 11th, 2001, as history and lives were forever lost and changed. God bless everyone who lost lives that day, as we were all affected, even if we did not lose anyone personally.
Very nice music hall stage. Good views & acoustics from the seats I've sat in, on the floor. The art space is nice, too, & used to good effect. A lovely addition to the community.
Beautiful theatre with great acoustics. Mesquite should advertise the events and shows more
Went here to see a play. The theater that we were in was small (there may be larger ones in the building -not sure) but nice did not feel cramped and it didn't really feel small more like intimate and for the crowd it was appropriately accommodating. Nice building - clean - more than sufficient parking. The chairs left a little something to be desired, they are the folding card table type chairs, but they were okay. I attended a matinee showing on a Sunday. Had an absolutely wonderful time. Can't wait to go back!
Listening to the band perform was great as always, and every seat is a good seat to enjoy the performance.
I went to see Le'Andria. The theater was smaller than I expected but it was nice. I liked the intimate vibe.
This place is awesome and the people who work there too. They have so many resources for kids like summer camps, crafts to take home, concerts and other events. My son attended the School or Yes (Visual Arts Summer Camp). He created a master piece made out of paper mache. All of the staff including the instructors were nice to our kids. I recommend this place to anyone). Thank you Erica and all the staff for everything.
