2 Park maintenance is terrible for this location. The grass across the entire park is full of goats head stickers, making it impossible to walk my dog without sneakers. People don't clean up after their dogs and it's consistently full of feces.
Last summer, the neighborhood had a huge mosquito problem and couldn't figure out where they were coming from. Turns out, the swingset didn't have drainage and monsoon season caused stagnant water to accumulate and sit there for over a month.
My wife posted about it on Facebook and a private citizen with a pump went and pulled all of the water out. We called the city and they closed the swingset with caution tape for several months before doing anything. I doubt they were going to do anything until we called.
Nice quiet park situated in a residential area. Has 2 swings for big kids and 2 swings for babies, 3 park tables with benches. There are doggie bags available so you can clean up after your pet. Lots of shade from the trees. There are no bathrooms at this park. It is generally empty, and all you hear are the birds chirping from the trees. Nice place to play fetch with your dog.
