Mexican Inn Cafe, Lake Worth TX

Had to wait a few minutes to get seated (5-15 I guess). Worth it tho! Fantastic food! Fantastic (masked) wait staff! Our waitress was super helpful & efficient (thank you!) Great environment with booths (covid protection shields)! Really wonderful (spicy) sauce & blanca queso!

I had the brisket tacos & wow were they ever tasty! I also got a quick lil bite of a regular crispy taco! Omgosh! Great seasoning! Gotta remember to order these next time! Got double charra beans instead of the rice! Was sooo scrumptious - even got extra charras to go!

Their top shelf margarita is good. Love their chips and salsa, they're more like Fritos!

Visiting on a Friday night was quite hectic — we couldn’t call in to reserve a table; we had to be in person to reserve a spot, and when we arrived, the wait time was about 25 minutes. The staff was kind and punctual, though, so that was very nice.

We ordered Brisket Burrito and Mexican Cafe Dinner.

The Brisket Burrito was the best dish we have had here. It’s large in size, and you will have plenty of food leftover for your next meal. Mexican Inn did not hold back on the brisket. Not only was everything flavorful and delicious, but there was also plenty of brisket left for the next day.

If you absolutely love enchiladas, the Mexican Cafe Dinner is the right way to go. The entire plate is filled with different types of enchiladas. I’m not a big fan of it, so I didn’t particularly like it.

The customer service was great, but nothing in particular stood out. Our waiter refilled our drinks on time and made sure everything was fine.

Overall, I would visit Mexican Inn again, but this time, I will order the Brisket Burrito. I didn’t order any burrito because I had assumed it would be a small one, but it’s actually pretty large.

It's a good place to eat tex mex but over priced for cheese enchiladas rice and beans and it's probably a little bigger than a TV dinner and that was for the dinner plate not the lunch but again that's just my opinion still not bad for Texmex food

I can’t make this up! This is the second time that the tacos were this way at the Lake Worth location. I will go to the one on Camp Bowie next time! What a joke this place is! How hard is it to make a taco?

They didn't know what a chalupas was. They have it on the menu. But what they gave me was a tostada instead.

I ordered a taco plate, it came with 3 tacos, rice and beans.the tacos were very bland and dry and the rice and beans were bland.this is the 2nd time I have eaten here and the food hasn't changed.

We have alwsys enjoyed Mexican Inn. Used to be our regular Thursday night treat until we moved father away so now it's every month or so. They used to have 8 items on the menu and all were wonderful. Now they've expanded their menu and it's hard to try something new because of our favorites.

Delicious! Homemade chips and tortillas. Fantastic guacamole! The fajita chicken salad was outstanding. Service is friendly and attentive.

Totally totally enjoyed my experience there. Our server whose name is Dee, was such a delight as well as the owner. The food as always, was excellent and of ample proportions

I remember it being better, when there was only the original location if Ft. Worth off of main. Seems like they have gone too mainstream.

This place was really good. The waiter was very friendly and fast and our order was correct. They were not busy for a Saturday night which to be honest kinda made me a little leary but I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely go here again. Great survive good food and great prices.

Love the Queso! And the Arroz con Pollo is Incredible! The chips remind me of giant fritos. And the salsa is fresh tasting although not very spicy. Service is excellent and portions were very large (especially considering they were lunch portions) The service was impeccable! Highly recommend for a delicious and casual place to eat.

Always great.everything is always hot and fresh. I got chicken nachos supreme and I never can eat it all.

I ordered the Nachos and a Margarita the Margarita was one of the best I have had in Lake Worth. Very good. Excellent Customer Service.

While service is good, the Food sucked. We ordered the Fajitas (combo) beef was bland, chicken was as dry as a bone, onions an 1 small slice of pepper, was good. The rice was dry an beans needed to be things out the other sides were fine. This was my oppion only.

I love Mexican Inn and my family loves it however, last night's experience was not good. We went in right at 8pm and there were still open for another hour. We were seated which took about ten minutes which okay they were still a little busy. When we got seated we they brought our chips and salsa fairly quickly, but then we sat there for quite a bit before the waiter came took our drink order and asked if would like some queso to which we said yes. He came back brought the queso took our order and never came back till he brought the food. He asked if we needed more drink, never refilled our drinks, another waiter had to brings us more chips because they were gone and food was still not there. Then he was suppose bring ticket to the table never came. I had have bring the ticket to the front counter so I could pay, with another from him saying he was busy cleaning up. This was a terrible waiter.

This is my mom's favorite. 9/10 times she wants to go here if we get together. The food is pretty good and they are usually packed, but most times you can still get a seat quickly. Of all the Mexican food around, it isn't my favorite, but it still pretty tasty and not too expensive. The staff is usually pretty friendly and overall it is a good experience.
