Meyer Chiropractic Center, Arlington TX

I went to Meyer Chiropractic Center for a subluxation of the rib due to a football injury and was in a lot of pain. Jeremy Ellis sat me down and sold me, a person in extreme pain who said to “do whatever it takes to make the pain go away”, on a 6 week spinal adjustment saying that it is “needed”…fast forward through an $1800 “program” and well over 6 weeks of being adjusted and now my neck and lower back are in near constant pain and I now have intercostal neuralgia because of the incorrect procedure performed for a subluxation of the rib. This neuralgia began after the 3rd session (1 week) with the clinic and although I stated time and again that I was in pain and it wouldn’t subside, the chiropractors assured me that it was my fault or that it was normal. This ladies and gentleman is called gaslighting. There were no injuries seen in the original x-rays and when I insisted new X-rays be taken after I stopped treatments, no changes compared to the original X-rays were seen. I consulted a spine and pain specialist who was aghast as to why Jeremy Ellis would be performing neck and lumbar adjustments on me in addition to thoracic adjustments that are not required to put a rib back in. He told me I would be okay with time and physical therapy.
Mr. Ellis did inform me that his love is music but he went with community college and Parker Chiro school because he wanted to make money. Dr. Meyer refunded the $1800, thank goodness. I’ve been in physical therapy for months and although my lower back and neck are on the mend, I still have intercostal neuralgia that will not go away due to the iatrogenic event caused by Jeremy. If you go to this place make sure Dr. Meyer sees you and not Jeremy Ellis. My experience is such that the latter may not have the best intentions and his skills as a practitioner are evidently lacking.

I love this place! So full of love and you can feel it. They truly care about well being of there patients. The staff are kind and very friendly always greet you with a smile. Dr. Thomas Meyers keeps me laughing and makes my day every time l go to my appointment. He helped get through a car wreck during the summer. And he was so good l am back seeing him for something else. I have no Complaints!

Followed Dr. Ellis out to Arlington because he is an amazing chiropractor. I do not trust anyone else touching my spine since I found him. Been going to him for about 2 years for regular maintenance. Highly recommend him!

In the past 6 months, I have seen SIX DOCTORS including three orthopedic surgeons of various specialties (neck, spine/neck, shoulder) who gave me MULTIPLE rounds of steroid injections, and two pain management doctors (who gave me a total of 3 epidural spinal injections), and a Physical Therapy MD. Every one of them told me s/he couldn't help any further and to try a different doctor. Several insinuated that chiropractic care was nonsense when I asked about it.

I saw Dr. Ellis for my very FIRST adjustment and he told me that part of the shoulder was misaligned and he worked some magic to correct that. I CAN MOVE MY ARM AGAIN. I had literally given up on thinking I'd ever feel joy again through the searing pain, and now I'm at work writing a review without tears in my eyes. I can never fully express my gratitude to Dr. Ellis but I CAN tell everyone I know to go see him. (My 75 y/o father has been seeing him since he started here at Meyer Chiropractic and loves him, too!)
