I regret to express my dissatisfaction with the management services provided at MEYER OAKS APTS. My tenure as a resident since NEW Property Manger 'Queen" has been marked by consistent disappointment and frustration due to the ineptitude and negligence of her management and people skills. Here are the reasons for my discontent: Incompetent Communication: The communication from the management office (QUEEN) has been abysmal. Requests for information or updates regarding apartment-related issues were often ignored or met with vague responses. There was a severe lack of transparency in addressing concerns.
Unprofessional Conduct: The professionalism displayed by the Property Manager (QUEEN) was severely lacking. Instances of rudeness, unresponsiveness, and unprofessional behavior were witnessed during interactions with the staff and other residents which is unacceptable in a service-oriented industry. Accountability: Despite numerous complaints and attempts to escalate issues, there was a consistent failure on the part of the management to take responsibility for their shortcomings. The lack of accountability and failure to rectify recurring problems was deeply disappointing. As a paying tenant, I expected a much higher standard of service and professionalism which regrettably was not met. In conclusion, I would not recommend [MEYER OAKS ] to anyone seeking a well-managed and comfortable living environment. The Property Manager (Queen) incompetence and lack of regard for residents' needs are major deterrents to a satisfactory living experience.

Meyer Oaks is a wonderful place to live. It’s a friendly community where you can raise kids. Have pets. Take a swim in either of two pools. Workout in the gym. The office personnel Queen and Mayra are the best at what they do hands down. They take very good care of current tenants as well as future tenants. The maintenance team Mr Hosea and his personnel are the greatest. Repairs are done in a timely manner. I’ve never had a problem with a work order not being completed. Meyer Oaks has different socials to try and get the residents familiarized with each other. The location is very convenient. 610 is a half of a block alway. My unit is large and spacious. The unit is very clean upon viewing the apt. The kitchen is a nice size with newer appliances. Garbage disposal. The dining room is a decent size. The living space is huge. It also has a large balcony sliding door that leads to a long extended balcony. The balcony is the length of the living room and the bedroom combined. I’ve never had a balcony that long. The balcony overlooks the pool which is a plus. The bedroom is huge. Very nice. I has a huge closet space. In addition there’s a side closet that adds even more closet and or storage space. The bathroom is a nice size and very bright. It has a polished look. Also id like to add that prior to moving into the apt…. It was freshly painted. The carpet was clean. The appliances were clean. And there were ceiling fans in the dining and living room area. This apt was up to my liking therefore I’ve been a tenant for almost two years. Parking is pretty good. Carports are available. Again Meyer Oaks

Lived here for 3 years and everyone was nice. The employees and the neighbors. Management changed once since I moved in and they are doing a fantastic job.

I absolutely love living in this apartment complex! The staff here is incredibly friendly and supportive. From the moment I moved in, they made me feel right at home, always ready to answer any questions and address any concerns I had. What really stands out is their prompt maintenance response time. Whenever I’ve had an issue in my apartment, the maintenance team has been there in no time to fix it. It’s such a relief to know that they take our comfort seriously.

Moreover, the location of this apartment complex is fantastic. It’s zoned to one of the best elementary, middle, and high schools in Houston, which is a huge plus for families. On top of that, there’s a wealth of great shopping and dining options just a short drive away, making it convenient for daily needs and entertainment. Plus, having nearby access to medical care facilities provides an extra layer of peace of mind. All in all, this place offers not just a comfortable home but also a great lifestyle in one of Houston’s most desirable areas.

I dont usually review. But i feel so happy i chose this property. The maintenance staff is timely and professional. The office staff is so welcoming and warm. The manager Queen has an open door policy which i have never had before. I always see staff walking the grounds and making touch ups which makes me feel like they care. Great job guys! Keep it up.

Best management and maintenance staff by far. Quick response and turnaround times. Ladies in the office are Welcoming and friendly. Property itself is conveniently located, what more is there.

Mayra was very professional and well knowledge. I’m choosing Meyer Oaks not only because the units are spacious, and great. But because Mayra made me feel like a person and not just another customer. She was very busy today and not once did she get overwhelmed and made you feel like you did not belong.

Loving it at Meyer Oaks! Great location and best of all, great management. The new manager, Ms. Queen, is absolutely amazing. She is the epitome of class and professionalism. And her sense of style is impeccable. Rockwell has won with this one. My parents have lived there for a number of years and have noticed a major shift in the clientele and the upkeep of the property since Ms. Queen stepped onto the scene. She's always cheerful and greets her residents, by name. And she can't walk the property without residents stopping to have a quick chat with her. And dare I say, Ms. Queen actually cares about the property and the residents. It's true what they say, the type of residents on a property is a reflection of the management. Since the new management arrived, my parents boast about their new neighbors being a Dr at Baylor U, an engineer at Chevron, and an owner of a local high end
wellness center. Anyone who doesn't notice or fails to acknowledge the changes at Meyer Oaks, is probably a part of the problem that was bringing this property down in the first place. Ghetto doesn't like class. You can see your way out if you do not appreciate a beautiful, clean, and positive environment. Kudos Rockwell!

I've lived in this apartment for several years and it used to be good. However, since the new management took over, things have gone downhill. The manager, who goes by the name "Queen, " and her staff are unhelpful and often argue with tenants for no reason. Despite tenants reporting maintenance issues, Queen fails to take action and instead blames the tenants. She seems more interested in prolonging the maintenance process to avoid paying for repairs on old appliances, despite the high rent rate for each apartment. Moreover, Queen is known for having a poor attitude, rude treatment, and speaking loudly to residents. Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone to move in.

When I moved in I loved the upgrades but was bummed to find out I couldn’t have access to Ac/ and heat simultaneously. You have to call maintenance every time you need one or the other. The walls are thin and people complain all day. There is no restrictions when it comes to dog breeds. I was once chased by a pit and another tried to maul my dog. When I moved out I had to leave all of my belongings due to roach infestation and mold. Of course they charged my credit with $7400 because of it. Also because of the mold caused me and my family including the dog health issues. I spent thousands on my dogs ear infections and rash which all cleared up once we moved. I have contemplated suing them. I’m glad to hear Liz is gone because she allowed neighbors to lie on and harass me for months. She was messy and at times very unprofessional. Maybe new management will help with your experience but the only good thing about this place is the location.

The new leasing lady who is named Queen is very rude and she is nothing like Liz. Her and her assistant have nasty attitudes with residents and will argue with you back and forth. Since they have been there barely anything is getting fixed and it is even hard to get them to answer the phone. They write down things that need fixing in the unit but fail to follow through. Whenever disagreeing with Queen be careful because she is very rude and will be quick to hang up the phone in your face and/or dismiss your concerns. Right now I am paying for an apartment that cannot even switch from AC to heat without needing maintenance, keep in mind this is all of the units with this problem. When Liz was there and even Deron they handled maintenance issues quickly. The new leasing is failing and they also incorporated new parking apps without fully informing residents and now cars are being towed. Move here at your own risk, these are not the same apartments like they were when Liz was there. I am sure they will come under here to lie and try to justify their actions because Queen is an argumentative type person. However, like mentioned above move here at your own risk. Oh and the only reason I didn’t mention the heavy set Hispanic woman is because luckily I do not know her name. She Is no better then Queen. She will only be nice until she disagrees, really hate Liz left

Updated Review: Property has had several break ins on vehicles as well as stolen trucks. My vehicle was ransacked a month ago. They have enforced a new towing system that seems they can benefit from but don’t invest in the safety of the residents. A building fire alarm went off and Management did not notify anyone with updates.

I was so impressed on how swift the process was. I am so thankful Liz was able to help me out and had units available to move in immediately. The prices are very fair and reasonable. I absolutely love my floor plan. It is so open and the upgrades they had just makes the apartment look great. My back porch is also very very spacious. I love the fact that it has very good lighting along the property and on the parking lots. The area seems very safe. I have been there a week and I have had no issues at all with my unit.

This review is strictly for the leasing office. We have been trying to call for multiple days now to get more information about leasing a unit at Meyer Oaks. We have called at different times and on different days but no one is answering. We went to the leasing office to try to talk to someone but the office was locked. The office hours stated online and onsite say till 5pm, Monday to Friday. We arrived at 4: 30 pm on a Thursday. We are interested in leasing a unit here as the location is good and the reviews are fairly good. Not so interested now.
