Mezzanotte Ristorante reviews
12 Everything about our experience was 5 stars!
Literally the only thing I can nitpick was our shot of lemoncello to start off-it could have been shaken with ice and then double strained to be more chilled-but thats me being picky.
Our meal was delicious!
We started off with calamari-good!
Our main course we had rack of lamb a d their Filet Mignon au Poivre.
That steak could have easily been priced at $50 alone! It was marvelous!
The rack of lamb was exactly what you want it to be.
We each chose risotto as the side and if it was available I would have ate that glorious goodness out of a feedback! Not sticky, just gooey and delicious.
We ended on a sweet note with their chocolate cake and coffee.
The cake was airy, and although a tiny bit dry, the icing was a great sweet note to round it off.
Definitely get coffee with this!
The vibe of the place is quaint and dimly lit to really have an intimate setting without feeling overwhelmed.
A wonderful anniversary was celebrated and will be remembered.
We placed an order to go! It was the best Food we've had! We had salmon, risotto diavolo, salmon and chicken picatta! Every thing was made to perfection! Will be eating here more!
Very neat and accessible place. They offer generous meals and for reasonable prices. I loved the menu very much and the staff members were super welcoming and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this place.
Was taken here by my sister in law, it is supposed to be one of the best Italian restaurants in the Cypress, TX area. I have to say compared to Italian restaurants here in the Philadelphia area, they have a lot to learn. I got the PAPPARDELLE BOLOGNESE, I have never had a Bolognese that had cream in it. It’s description says a light Bolognese sauce, I guess I should have asked what that meant. The wedge salad however was good. Service was good but fast paces. Overall it was ok but if you’re in Houston go out for BBQ.
This is where I think Google should increase the rating system for restaurants to 1 thru 10. To me this place is not quite a 3 (I am hard pressed on this system to give 5's) on a 1 to 10 this would be a 4.5.
We have been Mezzanotte customers since they opened their doors. Impeccable service, savory & consistent recipes, wonderful wines and cocktails. Best Italian in the Cypress, TX area, hands down. Best Date Night location. Best Impress your in-laws location.
First time to try this place and was pleasantly surprised. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the lemoncello cake was fantastic. The live music was a little loud. Will definitely be back to explore the menu.
Amanda is a great server and she always takes care of us when we come here! They have the BEST lasagna I have ever had and my husband loves the steak. We love coming here for date nights and highly recommend Mezzanotte!
Awesome food and experience for the price. I had chicken in this lemon sauce, Divine! Wife loved the lasagna and toddler scarfed the kids spaghetti.
Great food come enjoy the dinning experienced. Have not had anything I did not like. The house specialty salad is great
One of our favorite places. Always great food, the owners love what they do. Service is always great, prices are good and the drinks are made right.
Tonight was our first night trying this restaurant. I tried the special which was $26. My daughter tried the rack of lamb which was $39. We also paid $8.00 for a creme brûlée. The prices were very expensive especially for what we got. When the food came to the table we were very disappointed. Mine was bite sized and undercooked and the alfredo had no flavor. My daughters was covered in the pesto which she did not like at all and hers was undercooked as well. We ate what we ordered and didn’t complain, but It’s definitely not a place that we will come back to.
Incredible salmon and smooth house wine. Elegant but simple atmosphere and not too fancy to worry about not fitting in. Great cozy place for a good meal and family owned.
