Mi cabaña reviews
17The food and service was great and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be eating at this restaurant again!
Came here for lunch on a whim. Service from Niza was amazing. She was polite, efficient, and attentive to our needs. The food was extremely delicious. We got a 5 course meal to include a complementary jello dessert, and Tamarindo candy at the end! The price was very fair for 4 people. Under $60 without tip. Would highly recommend this place! Thanks Niza!
The food is ok. The service was horrible. The little short troll who has some tattoos has a bad attitude, I don’t know if she’s the daughter of the owner that she feels she doesn’t need to give good customer service. But if she’s not related any way to the owner, the owner should address her bad attitude. And because of her bad service, I didn’t leave a tip for the server.
I definitely will not return.
Thus is a hole in the wall restaurant with great tasting food. Located at the T-intersection of Lee Trevino and North Loop. Doesn't look like much but food and service is pretty good. Prices are also very reasonable. Recommend the barbacoa tacos and tortas.
This place is amazing for it's customer service. I don't live in El Paso (visiting) and I had yet to go to a restaurant and be treated like I was here.
I ordered barbacoa to go, and while I waited they brought me a small tortilla soup! I was hesitant at first but OH MY GOSH! THAT SOUP CHANGED MY LIFE! It was soooo good!
And the waiter and waitresses were so friendly. They took their time to check on me even though if i wasn't dining in.
100% recommend this place for its great food and service
It wasn't too loud as some places are. Food was awesome, we all had the special and I couldn't even finish everything. Also my glass was never empty.
Food was homemade flair to it, three of us ordered and we had a good variety to choose from. The disappointment came when the menudo was luke warm. They offered to heat it up, which helped it. The service was fine and so was the rest of the food.
Pleasantly surprised, food is great. A medium size dinner. Service is friendly and fast. Good servings are very filling and delicious.
As always, great tasting food. We remember this place from when it was a little hole in the wall on Horizon. They've come a long way. This is due to how they treat everyone. I can't say anything bad about this establishment. Give them a try. You won't regret it.
1st timer to this place. Food is great and authentic. Great service and great place. Service was great.
The food tastes very good, they are Mexican dishes and very well served, the customer service is very good
I liked the attention, the prices, the place, but the food, although good in general, lacked a little more seasoning, I like food that is a little more seasoned, more spices, a little more condiments that can add an extra touch to the dish.
Friday May 5,2023. Ordered a Grilled chicken plate and the chicken was old, dried, and gone bad. The manager (young, inexperienced) was rude. The bathrooms were extremely dirty probably for months.service took very long and the waitress lacked waiting skills.the place was dirty, with food on the floor like butter smeared on the floor and dirty napkins underneath tables. Side items overcharged side of sour cream and avocado (small) $2.99 each. The manager never offered an apology or discount for chicken gone bad (lacks Manager skills and customer service skills). Please see attached pictures.
I come to eat and they have very good service and I order food by phone and it takes between 10 minutes to pick up, I recommend them 100%
Regular food, one point less because we didn't realize it right away but the juice they served my daughter was sour (spoiled), until we left we realized why she didn't like it.
But the most important detail is that one of the people who works there brought a puppy, some waitresses ran to grab it, including the one who was serving us. He served half of the dishes, then he left with the dog and then we served what was missing.
It looked very bad that they had the little animal in there.
Very bad service, the beans were going to waste, I called to let them know and the only option for both the waitress and the owner is to have the dishes picked up.
There have been 2 occasions that I have been trying to give it a try but nothing else has convinced me. The first time I went I ordered tortilla soup, it was lukewarm and very spicy. The second time I ordered chicken fajitas and they tasted horrible and I got a piece that was bad. I told the waitress and she kindly brought me something else but nothing took away the bad taste for a while. I clarified that the Cabin in Horizon is delicious, everything there is with better seasoning, maybe it's a question of the chefs.
