12Great food had the enchiladas.i had breakfast at noon and was delicious.for the price and has its own parking no need to pay for it.a HOLE IN THE WALL amongst all these fancy places.will be back!
Nice but to small and very busy not enough time to enjoy food because their asking you to plz hurry and leave
Definitely authentic, but like when your Tia didnt pay attention and it only kinda tastes like your Abuela's recipes. Waitress was pleasant. Food was inexpensive (especially for downtown!) and good enough for a quick lunch.
Great little restaurant nestled between downtown and southtown! They definitely know what they're doing with breakfast. Came in for breakfast tacos, but once we sat down and saw the menu, everyone in my family wanted a full breakfast plate. They're all good reasonably priced options, and they have a good variety for whatever you're feeling. The food is pretty good and stacks up to most Mexican restaurants in tx. I liked that the potatoes were thick, cooked well, and not too salty. Also, they have plenty of parking and plenty of tables!
This place over charged us and the service is not good. We waited almost 2 hours for tacos and they wouldn't of attended us had we not asked about our order and we would've waited longer.
Slow cooks, non attentive waitress. Never got a refill nor did I want to ask. Waited roughly 35 min. Flour tortillas? Don’t even wanna talk about it, but let’s. They were hard/stale difficult to chew. The flavor of all food was great, along with great spicy green salsa. Cheese is meh. Pancake was hard as well, tough to chew. Had a rough aftertaste of dish water. Will not come here again. Wife disappointed too. Will stick to Tommy’s and Eddie’s.
Fast customer service, delicious food and it is not expensive. Try the Beef fajita tacos they are the best.
I love the barbacoa here! It's not too greasy. It's just enough to add moisture but doesn't takeaway from the actual meat flavor of the barbacoa like most restaurants where it tastes like grease! It's the second time I've been here. In th pat month! It's really a good place to eat! Especially with the vital records office is next door and the wait is long at times. We come eat and go back with plenty of time for them to call us.
Service too forever, food was okay and warm not even hot when I finally received it. The only good thing I can say I enjoyed was the lemonade. Food was bland. Didn't even give me the correct tortillas of ordered corn tortillas got flour tortillas
Food was delicious, Service was excellent and the place was very clean. I'll definitely be returning.
Walked in & sat down seevice started good placed my order at 11: 05 it’s 11: 49 the server said they are working on my order everyone else around had ordered way after us & still are food no where to be near done. I asked them to cancel my order and I would pay for my drinks only. The server said it was okay that I can just leave. WORST PLACE TO GO SIT AND HAVE BREAKFAST on a Sunday. & they weren’t even super busy. The cooks were making everyone else’s tickets before ours.
No frills family restaurant. Excellent carne asada tacos. Very attentive servers and the meal came out quick and hot.
