Mi Pueblo Viejo Mexican Restaurant, Odem TX

In my last 6 years I have traveled a lot for work and in each state I always explore restaurants and this place is an Excellent restaurant. I loved the food and the service is a success. The owners have a little boy who serves King's body. I found it very good atmosphere and very friendly people.

The waitress and cashier provided great service and treated me with great manners.
Can’t say the same about the food: first had a menudo, and had to have it retreat; it just didn’t taste right and it had similar scent to being raw.
I ask for the street tacos 2nd; the were ok, but not delicious; the tasted precooked.

We shared a plate of mixed fajitas and everything was delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The meat seasoned well. We will definitely eat there again

I ordered one pancake with a side of bacon to go. Pancake: circumference the size of the to-go plate*, like an inch tall, delicious. Bacon: thick and cooked (imo) perfectly.

My go to place on the way back home to Austin from Padre! FANTASTIC FOOD, and in this day and age, what a BARGAIN! EVERYTHING is DELICIOUS!

I was not taste the food the food cuz of the fact that I was told that there was no electricity. We clearly there was a hallway light on and the bathroom like also functioning paper towel dispensers, I will give this a star just because they left me my daughters diaper there. And I really appreciate it, but when I asked time they open they had the terrible attitude when you're hungry and you're with your family you will not take that lighting and the open sign was blinky open also anything oh I'm sorry the LED sign was on which means electricity so the point is Friday at 4: 00 p.m. With that Ford excuse of having all electricity get real first and last worst impression ever we come for the food not u, the date of the incident was June 2nd 2023 around 421 pm. Worst place to get tacos $12 for two tacos never again. Make a trip to sinton or calallen.

I highly recommend this little HOLE IN THE Wall Mexican Restaurant I was just passing by in my way to the Valley and got hungry AND MANNNNN THE NUMERO 12 ON THE MENU IS THE BOMB GRILLED FAJITA BEEF WITH ONIONS RICE AND BEANS WITH CHEESE ON TOP WAOOOOOOOOO IT WAS SO DELICIOUS AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT 12,99 GREAT SALSA ALSO TRY IT YOU WILL LIVE IT

Restroom were clean but the smell of sewer made me feel sick, the food was great and hot
But again the restroom were smelling

The barbecue tacos with handmade tortillas and large ones were very delicious. I ordered 2 and one filled me up
The waitress served us very well and very fast service.

Place could use some sprucing up. Street tacos were good. Service was great. Quesadillas were good, more cheese than meat but still flavorful.

Service good food was substandard bathroom smelled like they had been cleaned in months would not recommend

I'm hoping that they realize that the food quality needs improvement, lots of it. The tortillas served to me were old and tough. The tripas had a terrible taste. My friend ordered the ribs and they were undercooked. It was like he was fighting with rubber bands. Unbelievably terrible.

They have the best tacos than anywhere and they really stuff them, you will have enough with one taco. Always delicious and very fast service!

It was really delicious. Honestly I only pulled in to get some miner repairs done on my vehicles and got a whole experience. Delicious food and kind faces
