Mi Tradición reviews
1280% Bakery and 20% Restraunt. I visited for the pastries and got two bags full. Chaotic neighborhood location. Good pastries and prices.
I went there for the Cuban torta. It was a bit disappointing with little flavor. My friend ordered the flan which was a little over done and firm. I later bought some bread from the bakery and have to say it was delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside.
The bread is delicious so far the best bakery I know not to mention that you can find everything from bread, cakes, jellies to delicious cakes, among many other delicacies for your palate
Great variety of pan dulces. It's fresh and soft. Will come back when in the area. The horchata was delicious too.
Their bread tastes like what you would find in Mexico, delicious! Their food is also very authentic. Hard to find places like this in North Austin.
One of my favorite places in Austin. Great Mexican sweet breads and amazing food too! A must go to!
Wow… now this place is a classic. Mostly Spanish speakers but if you don’t speak Spanish they are patient. One side is hit good other side is bakery. Try the Chili Rellano plate (insanely good) and sample some breads and treats. Simple, delicious and fun.
I eat here almost every day, they are close to my Office and they always deliver when it comes to taste and customer service. Highly recommend if your hungry and in a rush.
Their skill is their seasoning and cooking technique. All the textures work and all the flavors are solid. I recommend the huaraches the most, as the meat does so well. The torta has a good bolillo roll and great flavor, though I would have liked a thicker milanesa. Still, great find tucked away in north central Austin.
I had been craving a real, authentic mexican torta for the longest time and this place was absolutely amazing. Incredible price, great portions, and flavorful salsas! Also, the bread was such good quality it reminded me of the ones I used to eat as a kid in Mexico. The aqua frescas were freshly made too. You have to come here 11/10!
The bread is the best in Austin Tx.
Bolillos like in southern Mexico.
And very delicious tortas with fresh waters.
I commend the place.
