Michael Catino, MD, Denton TX

I had low back pain going on for six months before being referred to Dr. Catino. I had seen chiropractors, massage therapists and had nothing but muscle relaxers thrown at me by my PCP before finally getting a referral in hopes of obtaining an MRI. I already had X-rays taken by the chiropractor and PCP who both agreed I had a loss of disc space and more imaging was needed.
Dr. Catino's staff took their own x-rays and after maybe three minutes of conversation he determined that going back to work would be my best option and then walked out he door. He did write a prescription for physical therapy but no time off work to complete it or feel better before returning to work. He advised me to do it concurrently with work (I worked at a warehouse with no light duty option.)
I lasted maybe 3 hours at work before I couldn't continue. I was promptly fired for job abandonment and have now lost my income and family's health insurance, including my one year old daughter.
I'm now going on 9 months of back pain with zero answers as to what's causing it, no job or insurance thanks to this office. I regret ever going to see him. I'd give zero stars if possible.

Just recently had my first appointment with Dr Cantino. With a bad back, I had lots of questions was very pleased with the thoroughness and the explanations of my situation and procedures headed forward.his office staff and nurse staff was very pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable. Very pleased with my experience, and would highly recommend.
