We feel so comfortable with Dr. Ward. We moved from Austin and make 4 hour drives to see him when we need to. He is very responsive to messages in my chart which is so helpful as a parent. We always reccomend him to other parents. Best pediatrician! Thanks you Dr. Ward for all you do.

I took my daughter in for a tear-shaped, lip-liner looking mark on her cheek. The nurse recommended billing it as a well-child check- up so insurance would cover it. They wrote "vision 20/20 without correction"-she had her glasses on whole time! Wrote "nutrition and exercise counseling" nothing was said about either. He said it was a rash and asked what moisturizer she uses -it was not raised, itchy, etc.smooth as silk, when I said that, he said "it's a little rough" (he had gloves on!?) He also asked what moisturizer I use, mentioned sunlight exposed to skin with lemon juice on it, and THEN that it would go away in 2-3 weeks (even though he had NO IDEA what it even was!?) Had her bend over to check for scoliosis, looked for half a second and said "she looks good". She was diagnosed with scoliosis last spring. He gave us nothing, not even a referral, the whole visit was like a bad movie, I'll be notifying the insurance company before they pay for this joker.

Dr. Ward is by far the best pediatrician we have had. Unfortunately we had to move 3 hours away from Buda. Yet I still make the drive to visit him when my little one gets sick. He is very patient and truly cares for his patients. He asks all the right questions to find the best cure for your baby. We never feel rushed out of there. We’ve visited other doctors where they seem to be in such a rush the visit seems to be in and out and we leave with so many questions. Also ARCs online portal is very helpful because I can reach him there if I have any questions and he’s very prompt in responding. Our little one had jaundice days after we brought him home from the hospital. He also had a cold months later and now at 14 months a stomach virus. Things happen and Dr. Ward always helps my little one get better and us as parents to worry less after a visit with him.
