Went very smoothly. The entire process was easy. Mike is a great mortgage refinancer.

Buying a first home is a process that requires explanation. While I am grateful in Michael working my loan, the process was unpleasant to say the least. You get what you ask. If you ask closed ended questions, do not expect any explanation.

First, my realtor and I had only one request for Michael, to deliver open communication and updates along the way. The only way updates were given is if my realtor reached out with questions. Most of the time it was a guessing game of where the process stood and what documents were needed to execute loan approval.

Second, two weeks prior to closing I requested an exact number to wire to the title company for closing costs. Most banks require a 24 hour notice of wiring money. After multiple ignored attempts at an answer, I wired the "projected amount" sent at the very beginning when preliminary numbers were sent. That amount was incorrect. Closing at 9am on Wednesday, I had to wire an additional $55 to the title before we could complete processing. This was the difference. Michael was unwilling to settle the $50 difference, showing he was not willing to help when he was the one that did not do his job in a timely manner. I was sent an email at 3: 30pm the day before closing, with the correct costs. Oh by the way, I close at 9am the next morning. To say the least, it made the process stressful. Did I say that banks require 24 hour notice and told him this multiple times, via email to add to that note?

Third, the day of closing. My realtor and I were given a packet of documents to sign. On top it said to reach out to your lender with any questions. My realtor and I had questions so we reached out to Michael. The response we got was, " Your title company should be able to answer. " Do not expect Michael to be able to answer your questions come the day of executing the contract.

If you know the property buying process, can wait to the last minute, do not need any explanations, do not need any communications outside of hi and bye, do not need someone who cares about you and your 30 year commitment.then Michael is your guy. If you need more, then I suggest looking around.
