Craft Store Michaels reviews
10Went to the store to get art supplies and had to use the restrooms. But when I went, the doors were opened with the lights turned off and they had a sign that said "closed". When I asked an employee if I could use the restroom quickly, they stated they keep the bathrooms closed to ensure no one can make them messy. I asked if something was broken, and they stated "no", they just don't want to clean them. Than they told me I could go home and come back.
Went in specifically for some 5 x 7 black frames which this type/style is what I'm using for my projects! On sale buy 1 and get one free.right up my alley. Lol lol Pretty store, too!
Great place and selection. Friendly staff. Self check out can be annoying if you have lots of stuff you don’t want to scan on your own.
As someone who spends a great deal of time contemplating jewelry-making supplies, I can assure you; if you have a specific need, you are far better off going to Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby (general supplies for most popular craft hobbies at the former, more specific needs at the latter). Michael's has just gotten far too expensive for me, and their bead selection leaves something to be desired. The only thing they might have different/better than other stores is the drawing/painting type stuff. And maybe the actual "hardware" to make jewelry, like metal stamping and making actual beads. They have virtually nothing for embellishing fabrics. I was pretty bored.
Convenient location. Easy to find. One stop shopping for art and craft materials and what I needed
Friendly customer service. A little pricey
A lot of merchandise was not marked with a price.
This store did not have a large variety of things, but they did have plenty of frames, if that's what you're interested in.
I was not impressed.
Michael's is a nice place in the area, less congested as Hobby Lobby and they carry 90% of what we are usually looking for, the coupons through email every month are nice too.
I'd been all over Waco looking for a particular product. The staff actually looked up the item and when I got there had someone even take me to the item I purchased. Employees were so helpful they even actually acted like they liked working there. My personal experience in this town has taught me that this is rare. I so much appreciated their effort.
It's ok. The store looks much better than it did two years ago but it still seems drab.
I can usually get what I need. There's usually a coupon I can use since I signed up for rewards
