Micheladas Cafe y Cantina reviews
13Good Mexican food located downtown. Open for lunch and had a variety of margarita options.
We were in town for a professional conference. Myself and 7 colleagues are here for a working lunch. Our waiter greeted us and opened with they don't allow tables to split checks and we would have to pay 1 check. We informed him that that wouldn't be possible. We were prepared to leave and he said they could in fact split them. He was incredibly rude and treated us as if we were bothering him the entire time. Food was good however I find $30 for 2 tacos in a small Mexican restaurant excessively priced. An auto grat was added which is fine, however there was no mention of it and several colleagues tipped on top of the 20% grat. He made about$100 tip from our group and treated us really horribly. 0/10 recommend.
Excellent restaurant. Ambiance, food and service and wonderful. My drink literally never was less than half full. Chicken enchiladas were amazing as was the refried black beans and rice. The queso with meat was delicious! So many places melt velveeta and call it queso. If youre in the area, hit this place up. It is a little pricey but worth it.
Absolutely, hands-down the best Mexican restaurant my girlfriend and I have ever been to. Tableside guacamole is a must get. Enchiladas are amazing. The service was super fast, with a perfect blend of follow-up, ensuring we had everything we needed to have an amazing experience. Come to think of it, it's the best restaurant we've been to in Austin. This is coming from someone who is very picky and hard to please. I am impressed.
Ordered their super ($22) burrito with pastor. It was NOT super. Bland, cheap ingridients and under-marinated (quarter-sized) pork chunks. Add a Paloma, and now you have a $45 meal with tip (also comes with chips and salsa). Service was not good and other customers seemed annoyed as well. There are plenty of other Mexican options around, skip this tourist trap.
Great service, Guac and Margherita's!
If they weren't in Austin I would frequent them.
Happening TexMex restaurant with good food and authentic salsa. Excellent waiter staff. 3 TVs behind the bar with all the appropriate games.
Very good food. Ate there twice in 1 night. Steak fajita was very good. Guacamole made fresh at tableside.
Nice big portions and the michelada was excellent. Their house salsa is so good they should bottle it; just right amount of kick to keep me chipping away.
Nice and cozy restaurant in the Austin dawntown. The staff is very interested in visitors, they serve quickly and constantly ask if you need anything else. Tasty food. There are several tables outside so you can choose to have a table inside or outside.
Excellent service, food is always delicious and so are the drinks! Pastor Taco plate, Burgers and salads are all my go -to dishes here. Great atmosphere pictured are the churros and sopapillas
Holy sh&t this was good! A bit spicy for a dutch guy but what a huge amount of flavor! Highly recommend this place!
Our waiter was great and quick to offer more drinks or water. Food is and was amazing as always! Looking forward to coming back.
