Michi Ramen reviews
17Food tasted great, everything was hot and ready to eat. They give you the broth separate from soup which I liked also. My only complaint is that they did not offer plasticwear being that you can't eat there I think plasticware should be a given.
Currently only carry out. The chashu is pretty leathery and the broth is so rich that it's almost unpleasant. Super salty, when I went to reheat my leftovers the broth was a solid gel with a thick solid layer of pure fat. I can absolutely see why it's some people's speed, it's just not mine.
Terrible place. They lie about when it will be ready, then keep on lying. I do not recommend this place at all.
Delicious Ramen for a reasonable price! I love picking up dinner here after work. They have lots of ingredient options and a variety of different broths so it never gets boring! Customising with toppings can get a little pricier but it's a nice treat.
Best Ramen in Austin and in the state. The Tankatsu is the premier balance of cremation of bone broth that I look forward to every time. The rest of the menu is justified in the respect on a great Chef that wrote it and has proven his worth. I recommend this Ramon Shop 100%. You won't be disappointed in what your desire from this Menu but they do need consistency in their staff on south Lamar! So sad that staff is. Hire real chefs and not part time college students that are no caring to the product please!
Food tasted like soap for some reason it just wasn’t good at all never getting food from here again.
This is an okay bowl of ramen for $12. I wouldn't pay more for it, nor will I come back for another bowl.
The chasu was leathery, reheated maybe?
Not really sure how so many people who have left a review are so passionate about this place.
Also, currently only carry out.
Took an extra 30min after order time after being told it'd just be a few minutes. If it's gonna be half an hour just say that so we can cancel vs waiting around guessing when.
They keep having problems with people placing an order at the wrong location (as happened to me). Maybe fix the design flaw? Wanted to charge me 50% to remake my order at the correct location.
If you like Ramen Noodle Soup! Warm delicious Broth & Fresh Rice dishes this is the SPOT! "NO FLUFF" "NO FAKERY" ALL GOOD!
Ya gonna get ho0ked! Absolutely BEST IN AUSTIN IVE HAD SO FAR!
I’ve ordered this place a few times on Uber eats and it’s been delicious every time. I usually get the Sapporo ramen with ground pork, but have tried the Michi and Veggie and all really good. I also love their spicy chili oil!
Got Cashu Don & Ramen on Uber Eats- haven't tasted the Ramen yet but the Cashu Don definitely taste reheated from yesterday and it taste the way wet dog food smells. Like if you cooked wet dog food in Soy Sauce yeah. Pretty raunchy- would not suggest
I don’t know about anyone else but the stout broth is a game changer for me. I’m a ramen connoisseur. Michi Ramen is #1 in my top 10. Flavorful rich bowls of love. I’m sorry but maybe some of you are not placing your orders accordingly. If you want bold flavor build your foundation and order the stout and go from there. Michi is winning!
Only does take out and had a confusing app interface that directs you to order from the spice road location
I ordered the chicken ramen and it was so gross. I thought the broth was bitter. So weird. I ended up ordering food from somewhere else.
I’m upset that I’m giving a really tasty restaurant only two stars, but I ordered ramen from them and found multiple hairs in my food. I found one small hair and decided that “whatever, it’s just one tiny hair”. Took a couple more bites and as I’m using the chopsticks I notice what looks like a hair. So I lift it out and sure enough a looooong hair comes out. Suffice it to say, I threw up and threw away the rest of the food. Has this place not heard of a hairnet?
