Midas, Arlington TX

I've only done oil changes here but they do a good quick job and will let me know what else should be worked on but are lower pressure. They usually have a good deal online for an oil change.

Honesty and the ability to solve problems with care, truly need more mindful professionals that you and your staff put forth. Never have I've experienced this level of treatment from a company that truly knows how to engage and maintain a healthy community. Thank you for being you. You will always be my first in mind that our community needs to really help those in need. A pillar that held up strong for many years to come, and it's rare but fortunate to have such family and team members that keeps us at the heart of feeling and knowing we matter. I recommend every person in the metroplex to try it for themselves and I promise Eddie won't let you down. I've learned that I can trust him, the staff, and service will be at more than just professionals. They are what makes the heart of Texas the best damn community I've been in. Midas on Cooper Street in Arlington, gives great service! They have great people skills exhibited from their manager by the name of Eddie. Eddie has great communication skills that make the customers feel like part of the Midas family. No job is too small for this Midas to handle in a professional way. I recommend this location for your repairs. They are prompt with the repairs, as well.

Eddie got us in right away. Everywhere else there was a 3-4 hr wait. Awesome, quick service! 5

Midas and Jay has helped me and my family for years with all of our car care work. They don't try to over charge or do more than what is needed. Very honest and easy to talk to with also reasonable timing with getting repairs completed

Educated on how my brakes should be and the service manager was very thorough in explaining what was happening with my vehicle. Also what to expect after the repair. I've never used Midas before so the great experience helped my opinion.

My daughter and I took her car “Volkswagen” here today thinking we had an exhaust leak because of an extremely strong smell inside the car. Turned out to be a cracked fuel pump. They got her car in and out within a few hours for a fair price. The people here were very nice, they contacted us several times to let us know the findings, and how much the repair was going to cost, and to request authorization to make the repairs. It all went very smoothly. We are very happy with the whole experience.

Eddie and his team were very helpful with my 2009 Toyota Tacoma. I thought it needed front wheel bearings but his team was able to quickly diagnose that I need rear bearings. They did a great job getting it in and fixing.

Please NEVER go to this S Cooper St Branch of Midas. I usually don't write any reviews but I had to say this here. I spoke to a gentlemen, I believe his name was either Joy/Roy (I'm not sure on his name), and he was very rude. He was not happy with my discount coupon for normal oil change. He said that he cannot fill with normal oil and that I must fill with synthetic oil. I said, I have been using normal oil for my very old car since many years, so please use that.
He told if anything happens to the engine, they are responsible and that's why he cannot do it.

This is the first time I've heard of this joke.

But the Midas Pioneer branch does a very good job. Their office staff is very helpful and polite. Please go to that branch and see the difference.

DO NOT GO HERE!

I only went there since they had a coupon for a synthetic oil change. Left needing to get 2-3 auto body shop estimates since their employee accidentally backed my car up into a tree in the median between them and Sherwin Williams paint store instead of pumping the brakes. Manager Eddie Arroyo fired the employee and told me that he was arranging "for the tree's insurance company to cover the cost of [my] car's repairs and a rental car. " It turns out that, of course, it is actually Midas' insurance company not the tree's as he had told me panickily. Midas' insurance company USIC's Casualty Claims Rep who first started my case is suddenly "no longer with the company" and her replacement told me that neither of the 2 auto body shops whose estimates I had submitted to the first Rep would work on my car due to its age vs.expense of parts, labor, etc. Their Appraiser/Total Loss Adjuster/Catastrophe Adjuster emailed asking for photos. My car was old, but still good looking and functioned well until I went to this place for an oil change. DO NOT agree to have a free wheel rotation since they're only looking to inspect your brakes to upsell you from an oil change!

I responded to the Midas prompted by their reply to my 1-star review; however, they have not responded to me.

I guess that the silver lining of this ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SHORT OF HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at Midas was that I found All Pro Paint and Body Shop at 2627 S Cooper St Suite B-14, Arlington, TX 76015 where I got my car repaired.

Eddie and his team at midas are very personable good at what they do wait time isn't bad either for someone like me who doesn't like to wait they keep you informed and don't try to sell you anything or make up extra things to make more money very honest in my book

The mechanics at the Midas shop were professional, knowledgeable and made sure to explain clearly everything that was needed on my vehicle. They made sure I knew the cost of the services required and the final cost was lower than the original estimate. I will definitely go back and refer them to family and friends.

Never again price gouging to replace 4 spark plugs and 4 rubber coil covers. Rubber coils were priced at $49.99 each, all 4 would have cost 35.00 + tax at the Dealer (Toyota Vandergriff). Spark plugs and labour was acceptable for the price.

Eddie and his team repaired and completely restored the damage that was done as a result of my car being stolen. They protected my car and worked with the insurance agency to assure that all of the repairs which include window replacement, ignition restoration as well as giving my car a complete detailed cleaning. My car has never looked this good. I am absolutely grateful of everything Eddie and his team did for me. I will continue to be a client there at Midas and will recommend them to anyone. Alot of places did not have room and as soon as my car was brought back from Louisiana Eddie too care of it.
