Japanese Restaurant Mikoto reviews
18Delicious with great atmosphere! Both me and my boyfriend had a great lunch. The shrimp lo me in and the ramen was both delicious and the takoyaki was amazing! Their milk tea is also really good; Very creamy! We will be visiting again.
I ordered sushi lunch yesterday for my husband and vegetable ramen for myself. It was our first and last time to do so from this restaurant. The food was horrible! My husband said the sushi tasted old and quit eating after a few bites. My ramen was so salty, I could not eat it. A few hours later, my husband started having symptoms of food poisoning. Stay away from this place-the food is not fresh and not prepared well. This is dangerous, in fact.
Mikoto's strength is in their ramen broth. Their spicy beef ramen is especially impressive. But that's not all. Get a warm Japanese welcome as you enter; Get served Texas-sized portions of sushi, tempura, ramen, & Japanese/Chinese dishes (like 掛包). Most of it is also AYCE (all you can eat)! Drinks range from sodas/tea (hot/bubble/fruit) to a plethora of alcoholic beverages. Ala-carte pricing and bar seating options also exist if that is your thing.
Excellent customer service and great food! The sushi came out very quickly and it was delicious!
Three rounds of a choice of sushi, appetizers, ramen, tempura, poke and dessert for $17 at lunch. Delicious. Ramen broth is savory and sushi is fresh and on point every time. Service is fast and friendly.
Updating the review since it was been a few years.this place used to be really good, but now the quality has dropped off significantly. They have also introduced a scamy all you can eat buffet.if you dont eat it all they charge it at full price.so the bigger part of the scam is they will increase the number of peices then what is listed on menu, in what appears like an attempt to make you fail do they can charge you more. Oh and they no charge you for chilli oil at a dollar an ounce.don't think I'll be back anytime soon
Very fresh sushi and tasty ramens. They also have very good Chinese food as well. Highly recommended!
Not return-able. I tried reaching someone in management before leaving a negative review, but they don't have any contact info on web site. Sushi was not horrible.but too large and far too expensive for conveyor belt quality sushi. They charged extra for everything (extra spice, extra bamboo, extra broth - surprised they didn't charge for the tea refills), they didn't get order right, the raman had a lot of noodles but was not very good. Slim on meat and heavy on noodles.same with sushi rolls and nigiri.heavy on cheap rice. Service was poor.very poor.they never showed up. All together 3 raman diners and one sushi was $125.too high and not very tasty with bad service.i wont be back.
This place is the perfect spot to experience some really good authentic Asian cuisine. I was very impressed with the quality of their sushi rolls. I also had the pork bun, and was very impressed with the texture and flavor of it. The spicy chicken ramen had a perfect smokiness to the broth and the chicken was tender, but could have been a little spicier. I will definitely be heading back whenever I get a chance.
Their food service is little e okay and poor, I am not going there anymore and their server has poor skills and do not spend your money rhere
Very poor quality sushi. The yellowtail was not fresh and had a chemical aftertaste. Had the Sushi/Sashimi platter and the sushi was essentially all fake-crab. The salmon and tuna sashimi were ok as was the hot tea which is why I’m giving this place more than 1 star. The service was poor, although I don’t blame the waitress who seemed to have too many people she needed to attend to. Large communal tables which, especially in the time of covid, were uncomfortable and made for a poor experience, especially since they filled our table while the one behind us remained empty… would recommend you look elsewhere for sushi
Lunch Special - eat 3 rounds Sushi variations, choice of appetizers, Poke bowl included for a flat price. A great deal! They also have good Ramen. Yum
4 Stars only because the sashimi slices are incredibly small, however if you order all you can eat it's honestly not a bad deal. I had no problem with the quality, service or wait time.
Yo the foods amazing and the staff is wonderful but the music in the bathroom should be played in the restaurant itself it's a whole vibe
The food tastes really good. The tables in the middle are communal, which can be a bit of an adjustment, but it was very pleasant overall
Love this place excellent ramen and tempura (sorry I took a bite before the pic 6/5 recommend
If your diabetic and wanna do all you can eat special just go during dinner cause lunch does not offer sashimi. It's very good just disappointed about that
First time to a ramen bar and I gotta say I'm glad I went here. It was such a nice experience. The environment was relaxing, the moral of the employees was perfect. They are doing something right! Food was really good too
