Mikulik Sausage and Seasoning, San Angelo TX

This place is so authentic that it feels like your dad is going to tell you to shut the door before you let the AC out when you go inside.

Seriously, this place looks like a hole in the wall. The inside is both incredibly functional and stuck in the 1970s, in a good way, with stained glass beer lights like the ones that used to hang over pool tables hanging from the ceiling and some shades of paint I'm pretty sure they don't make any more.

It's important to know this beforehand, because once you cook up some of their sausage, you'll wish you'd purchased more.

The pure pork sausage is some of the best pork sausage I've tasted in my life. Get it. It will change your life too.

Unlike any other sausage. I am not a fan of sausage, but I love the sausage from Mikulik. You have to try it to understand. It's soooo good.

We drive to San Angelo just to get sausage from Mikulik! It is by far the best German sausage in the area! The hot is one of my favorites.

I take Mikulik sausage to our Hill Country motorcycle get together each time I attend. Everyone raves about the sausage. The group says I don't have to bring sausage each time, but I don't dare show up without it! We always look forward to the cookout, and that day is usually the first thing planned. The employees at Mikulik are top notch and will do everything possible to accommodate special requests. Great business, and I love supporting them!

In my opinion Mikulik sausage is the best sausage I have every eaten, bar none. It is even better than any of the sausages I ate while in Germany in the 70's.
