The compassion and guidance they gave me was second to none. My time here was something I was ashamed of going in but now, I am proud to say I went through the program at MAM successfully and came out stronger. I recommend this place for anyone needing help. It was a life saver for me.

Biggest waste of time in my entire life. Left the VA to try the civilian side. The intake wanna be Counselor woman was awful. Obnoxious, annoying, no treatment plan. Waste of money. Waste of time. Very disappointed. Money above mental health should be their name. They don’t care about the client. They care about listening to themselves and getting your money. They need to set themselves on the curb on Tuesday or Thursday because they are trash and they need to be picked up on Trash day

At this point everything is great, step daughter just started and she is fighting all forms of therapy so we will see how this goes. My issue at this point is no transportation provided at the Burleson location like other locations. She does half day from 1-5: 30 and I start a new job this week. I can't leave mid day and drive 30 min one way to drop her off and back home. A transport service would be helpful because peoples children are really struggling and parents need to work.

The facility needs cameras in all rooms when there is one on one with minors. Was doing out patient rehab for 3 months and doing school work at the facility 11-1, schooling was not monitored and I was not made aware of school work that needed to be done when asked. Only a few school assignments were done and on each class still had 70 + assignments that still needed to be done by the time I was made aware after discharge.

I previously posted a great review, but honestly take it back since they told me there was no way I have ADHD because I don't present with hyperactivity (which most girls don't past young childhood). Fast forward a year and I've been on adderall for 3 months under another team and I'm absolutely thriving. Turns out it's all I needed this whole time.

Jeremy is the best therapist I've ever had. He makes adult group therapy fun and comfortable. It was very easy to open up to him. Nadja really knows her stuff when it comes to sorting your medication out, and is friendly and attentive to your needs. The front staff is kind and welcoming. Best therapy option I've ever attended- I was actually sad I had to leave. They completely helped me regain control of my life and I couldn't reccomend them more. Thank you Mind Above Matter team!

My daughter went through the PHP program a few years ago and she made very good progress.unfortunately I had to put her back in this program in June 2019. They had all new staff and it was a horrible experience. The first day my daughter was allowed to go into the main lobby and according to the police she was left there unattended while staff went to get a key for the restroom.my daughter walked out of the building and we didn’t find her for approximately 48 hours. These kids are in this program because they are dealing with mental health issues.they should never be left unattended especially when they are first starting this program and the staff does not know them. I put her back into the program because I didn’t know what else to do and during one of the group sessions the staff member had them playing with tarot cards.she said they were working on feelings. There was another incident when the kids had free time and an incident happened which ended up with my daughter having to be admitted into the hospital.this should not have happened either IF there was any kind of supervision going on. I would never recommend Mind Above Matter to anyone and we have been using their services for about 4 years.if you feel you have no other options like I did be very cautious. I did find another program for my daughter and since then I have talked with many professionals in the mental health field and all have told me they would never refer anyone to Mind Above Matter. Unfortunately one of the better programs I had found previously is run so badly it has turned into a dog and pony show.these are your precious children you are leaving here. BEWARE!

The therapist is good, the medication lady is fine, but the “nurse line” that handles refills is like a ghost town. My pharmacy faxed a refill request over and got no response. I tried for a week to reach out to this “nurse line” at all hours of a day and no one picks up the phone or returns messages. I finally gave up on the refill and let it go. I’d advise you to NOT rely on this place for medication refills. If you can’t get a refill on the original prescription that lasts until your next doctor visit, don’t accept it.

I attended the Burleson location in October after attending the Arlington location in March. Big mistake. I went in for anxiety & depression & while I was getting better, I had a setback after a situation occurred. I expressed this to the counselor & I was still discharged. I requested to speak with Joye who is the supervisor on 2 different occasions to see why an extension through my insurance wasn’t requested & she never reached out, even though I spoke with my insurance company & I was advised that they could have requested an extension. I would never refer anyone to them. Very unprofessional & uncaring & I had to end up going to another facility.

When we walked in, no one was at the front desk. I signed in and sat down to wait since we were about ten minutes early. Apparently the receptionist was on break because she came around the corner and looked at us with a blank stare. I said we’ve never been here before so we just sat down. She got seriously huffy and loudly proclaimed that she was in the bathroom. When I just looked at her she asked if I signed in, I said yes and she told me that I signed in on the wrong one of the two clip boards. While filling out the new patient packet they had the radio on so loud that I couldn’t remember how to spell my own name, so I got up and turned the radio down. Yes the radio that had a big sign stating DO NOT TOUCH. It just got worse from there. If you are anxious or depressed or stressed, this is not a good environment to expose yourself to. JPS psych ward was more calm and professional than this. MAM! Please straighten yourself out and become worthy of all the places that recommend you.

I set up a consultation for my daughter. Suggestion was made to start therapy. And possibly meds. But was informed that even if she needed meds it was going to be several weeks before someone could come in to give the script. We were suppose to get a phone call the following week to set up a therapy appt. It took a month to get that call. By then we decided to try somewhere else. That joke of a consultation cost me 80 dollars out of pocket. Then I noticed they charged my insurance another 100+. For what? I would not recommend this place of business.

Really nice clinician, but I drove 2 hours to get a refill on a very needed prescription and there's no doc on staff at this location. They need to streamline their processes. Also, not a very nice location.
