Dr. Adebogun knows what he's doing. For years, my PCPs have changed around my medications and nothing ever worked. It only took Dr. A a few minutes w/ me via video call to determine what I needed. I believe that is because he truly knows what questions to ask and he thoroughly reviewed my history. He honestly cares about my well being. He has given me the tools to begin to better change my life.

Dr. A is comprehensive and kind. His office staff is knowledgeable and helpful and I would recommend seeing him for your psychiatrist needs. I’ve been under his care for 4 years now without any issue.

I had an excellent experience here the doctor took his time and actually cared it's hard to find doctors that care about you these days. I will definitely be staying with this doctor for a very long time

I see Brittany Haymond, and I am receiving TMS treatment from Marlyn. Nothing but good things to say. Marlyn is amazing, makes the appointment enjoyable with good convo. Brittany is great as well, she really listens to your symptoms and prescribes accordingly. Best experience I have had with any psychiatric clinic. Dr. A is knowledgeable and kind.

Kind staff. It’s always been very easy to schedule and cancel appointments. Have been to many psychiatrists and have finally found what it is I need here to live a better life. Thank you and I do recommend if you are considering.

Really bad experience bringing my son on a a new tele-health patient. His appt.was at 11am, I never received a link for a zoom meeting, I was advised this is because when I completed the online forms I did not provide cc information which was not a required field. I also have insurance. On the date of his appt I had to call 5 times to get someone I finally received someone by chosing the option to speak to someone to set up TMS whatever that is. Just an overall poor experience and no communication.

My overall suggestion for this practice is make the cc information a required field on the forms or have someone in the office follow up on received forms that are incomplete to advise what information is needed prior to appt time. If the client does not provide cc information maybe a good idea to verify their insurance to confirm if any payment would need to be made to you or if their visit would be covered. Everyone does not feel comfortable providing cc information especially when they are covered by insurance.

Dr. A runs a tight ship. Office visits are simple and quick. Communication is easy and effective. I realized his practice is exceptional after having to visit other doctors for a year due to health insurance changes.

Edit: My appointment was at 10am yesterday and I don't understand why my prescription wasn't received until 9pm at the pharmacy. This happens every month and I've come to expect Mind Matters to be slow on my prescriptions. I've been coming here less than a year and every single month it has been an issue. If you have time to charge my debit card, you need to make time to send my medicine.

My no-showing for an appointment two weeks ago has nothing to do with your office being slow to send prescriptions out.

I really liked going here when I first started. My 1st Therapist Jessica was great, but she took a job elsewhere. My next Therapist, Taylor, was also great; until she refused to schedule an appointment or even talk with me. I used the patient portal to contact her many time asking for help and guidance. I tried her personal phone, contacted the office, and even tried to contact Dr. A through the patient portal about not receiving a response from one of his therapist. I still received no answer. I decided to seek therapy else where but continued to use Dr. A as my psychiatrist. However, I don't think I'm going to continue that. I was suppose to have a video conference with Dr. A and was in the "Waiting room" for 20 mins. I tried to contact the office with no answer. I am thankful that Mind Matters helped take the steps I needed to start moving past my anxiety an depression, however, I'm disappointed that I can't get anyone to stick with me in this company.

Below is a message I sent Dr A. I have been in his office 70+ times (TMS) and I have never experienced the staff being rude. Sometimes Dr's run late, Dr's don't know what each patient will present. I know I have made a few Dr's late for the next appt.

Dr. A thank you again for making me a success story. Besides my happiness level going up another change I noticed is throwing. My whole life when I throw something it will miss the target. I was always the last kid picked for any team because I was awful - I had an athletic build and no skills. In the last few weeks I have been tossing things where I generally want them to go and I am suddenly making perfect shots often. I think the TMS fixed something that has been broken my entire life.

Thank You, Marilyn and Your staff

I just had an appointment here. Manny was professional and cordial. The Psychiatrist was also cordial and professional. When I left her office, I was prompted to go make an appointment. When I approached the window, a man with glasses was slumped in his chair - the Psych informed him that I needed to make an appointment with a counselor. So then he said it would have to be telehealth and that the counselor would probably not want to come in and he would to have check - I said okay, I am not interested in telehealth because I have my kids at home and I really don't want them to hear me discussing my personal life. He said, well I understand that - but you could get us sick and then we would have to shut this entire office down. Wait. Who are you again and why are you even speaking to me like this? - were my thoughts. After he said all of that he proceeded to make an in person appointment. I went there because I am seeking help - I may observe people's behavior's for a living but in that moment - I really didn't care if he was having a bad day and I will not make excuses for his poor behavior. Leave it at home. After I made my appointment, he continued to ramble about how telehealth is the way it is going to be. This coming from the guy who could not keep his mask on his face. On my way home, I called and cancelled my appointment. It is just not worth it to deal nor tolerate individuals like that

This is not a malicious review. I was treated very poorly upon my arrive to this facility. The lady behind your desk knows absolutely nothing about customer service and is rude. This is my personal opinion of your business. I will not change it either.

Very respectfully,

Paul

I have found it difficult to reach someone to make an appointment at times, but who knows what staffing was like when I called, stuff happens. Other than that, I have ZERO complaints. The team is super nice and Jeannie made me feel sooo at ease in a time when I needed it most. She was super professional while still making me feel as if my situation was mine alone and mattered. She took time to get to know me, my history, and offered great support. I didn't feel like just a number, but an actual person whose life was important.
I really don't understand some of the reviews on here because I had a fantastic experience. My son is also a patient and I only started coming here because of his positive experience with Brittany at the Fort Worth location. It's nice to meet caring physicians that actually take the time to listen to patients needs. I would absolutely recommend Mind Matters if you're having a difficult time in life or need a doctor to oversee your meds. They are incredibly knowledgeable and I hope they continue to grow. This is absolutely the best experience we've had with in network providers.

FYI- My visit was to Flower Mound and my sons to Fort Worth, both are fantastic. We didn't wait long at either and were treated very kindly and with respect.

I wish I could give 0 Stars to this Dr.

Hands down the most awful experience of my entire life. This "doctor" does not care about the lively hood of your children; in fact his words to me exactly were "that's not my problem" - when my child was without medication for 14 + days. (and this was not a one time thing). He did this to my son 3 months in a row. 8 years old and has no control of what is happening to him. As a parent you seek out doctors to help you and your child not for them to tell you "it's not their problem". Once this man has his money he could care less about you and your child. All you are to Dr. "A" is just another pay check or another # on his wall count.

Please read if you need help and are sick of incompetent care.

Dr. A in his team is fantastic treat you amazing and take the time no matter how long to take care of you! I was hospitalized and they squeezed me in same day and spent over an hour catering to my needs. Their advanced tech and latest treatments had me reduce from 16 to 5 after 6 years of mistreatment and mismanagement by several of (the best money could buy) even traveling to Boston and Atlanta (2 of the alleged best medical hubs). The tech to communicate is amazing also!

I READ EVERY NEGATIVE REVIEW! I must emphasize I have experienced the opposite of all of them. Dr. A was quick to refresh and remove staff that did not fit his standards (which many had previously complained about). I call on at least a weekly basis with special requests (although I am reminded to use the portal as it goes immediate to the doctor which if you've sat with him he gets the notifications immediately and takes care of during down time in-between patients). The only time my call has gone unanswered is during their scheduled and announced lunch. Also you must remember he is not a normal psychiatrist he is also a psychopharmacologist (one who saved my life) he might suggest meds that are new and expensive but it's because they are the best and if you can't afford he will ALWAYS work with you often providing PLENTY of samples OR GREAT DISCOUNT CARDS (one of my meds was over $500 and that's with insurance discount card got it to $40. Also alot of patients complaining were complaining about Scheduled narcotics which are needed by some but you can't expect to have a drug history with the tx pharmacy board and expect to walk out with scripts of narcotics.

***I have no affiliation to Dr. A or Mind Matters Psych I am a high level sales exec that was fortunate to have my life saved by this competent practice and an office staff that was diligent and advocated for me as hard as they would for a family member (especially Andi) ***

Went, loved it but had to end it today. I love Brittany Haymond but I Had to wait almost 2 weeks for a letter from her. She prob forgot and I get that so no issues there because I was able to Talk to the office mgr.she got it together for me same day and said it would be ready in a few mins if I wanted to run by to get it.went there the next business day and it wasn’t ready. Had to wait for it to be printed and had to wait for something else dealing with signing up for the therapist.
I had my 4 year old with me and he had to use the restroom. (this is where my “quick” run in went wrong). I Went to ask the receptionist how much longer it would be because I needed to take him to the potty. She threw her hands up at me and told me to calm down cuz she’s “getting to it”. This was the second incident. The first was her collecting money when I told her I met my deductible and advised her to call my insurance.
I tried to arrange going to a different location just to avoid this receptionist but the flower mound location is too far from where I live so I cancelled all my appts and will seek help elsewhere.

They kept pushing one drug that my insurance would never approve, they kept asking me to drive over an hour to get samples till it did get approved (3 months and counting). They put me on a drug that made me physically sick, so basically I was without meds and became sducidal. I call in a panic begging them to suggest me a place to go.and they told me to “send a message through the portal”. I literally just told them I wanted to kill myself. Thankfully I called Mesa Springs (which I found on my own) and they talked me down and told me to come in. Best choice I ever made. Mind Matters isn’t helpful to YOUR needs at all!

Great doctor and great staff. They don’t judge you or make fun like a lot of doctor offices do. They also get back to you and don’t ignore you. Counseling is great too. I have been going here now since 2016. I am much better than I was in 2016! This doctor is very understanding and real. The name of the office is true too. MIND DOES MATTER!
