Miss Lou's Caribbean Grocery reviews
10Pleasant ladies. Had yellow yam, ackee, salt/cod fish, callalloo, breadfruit and snacks. Was out of chippies.
Best jamaican store ever! She has everything and they are fresh! Her customer service is the best!
Miss Lou has all the original authentic Caribbean seasonings and drinks. She even have frozen oxtails, fish and homemade Jamaica Beef Patties and Jamaican vegetarian Pattie and it taste soooo good. She definitely deserves 5 STARS!
Miss Lou is LITERALLY THEE SWEETEST lady! I felt like a kid in a candy store at this place. She has very authentic Carribean foods such as plantains, green seasoning, curry, pigeon peas, Spice buns, to name a few!
Please do yourself a favor and also get the homemade coconut candy! It is delicious and not overly sweet. I can’t wait to start cooking and visit Miss Lou again
Parking: Several parking spaces available.
Went with my friend that is from Jamaica to get some Jamaican patties. They are the BEST! I hope to come soon and by tons more! Very nice owner!

My favorite Caribbean Grocery in Houston. They have everything and are so nice and hospitable. You can ask any questions you have and she can get you what you need. Please try her sea moss drinks, they are toooo good! Will be coming back all the time!
I discovered this store I want to verify the address. I'll give a better rating the store once I make my first visit.
Just meeting her was worth the drive. I didn't ask her name assuming she was Miss Lou. I hope I am correct in my assumption. She was a kind considerate, engaging woman. Some items were pricey but the store is new and it's small. Therefore, understand she doesn't have the buying strength like the grocery chains. It felt really good to support a small business. I hope to continue adding my dollars to her success. I saw new spices I've never tried and she told me of new dishes to make with those spices. I will go back. She sells yellow yam. I expect her inventory will grow in time.
