They're great until you have a problem. I had ordered multiple things from this store and had a good experience until a dresser I ordered arrived in a horrible yellow/brown color that was supposed to be cream. After agreeing the dresser color was incorrect/damaged, they basically ghosted me from the corporate number/email to the store. I would call the corporate number and they would hang up. Returning this dresser was a total nightmare and became like a full time job. Weeks (5+) later they finally arranged for it to be picked up but would not refund me for the delivery ($250) and would only give me a store credit or refund my card with a 25% restocking fee for a damaged item (over $600!)! That’s criminal. I can no longer recommend buying anything here. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience

After dealing with at least 5 other furniture retailers, my wife and I can honestly say that MGBW Dallas is without a doubt the best. We honestly could not have had a better design or retail experience. Whether it was assisting with new furnishings after an extensive remodel of our existing home or helping us fully furnish a vacation home before it even existed, Edgar Gomez, Trent Bryant and the rest of the crew at the MGBW Dallas showroom were the best. Edgar’s eye for design is beyond compare. His willingness to help us incorporate and coordinate new pieces with existing pieces was something that my wife and I have rarely seen with other designers. My wife calls Edgar the miracle worker. Trent and everyone worked their magic coordinating deliveries from multiple orders to multiple locations - even our delivery experience was exceptional. Needless to say, the biggest compliment we could give Edgar, Trent and the rest of the MGBW crew is that we absolutely love our homes thanks to everything that they’ve done to help us through the process!

Ordered a desk in January and initially was told it would be available by end of February, that then changed to May, now hopefully July. When requested a refund, they offered their broken showroom model. Very aggravated with this company at this point. This is a gift to my daughter and we are disappointed with this company and their workmanship.

Please save your money and avoid this store/ brand. You definitely will not get what you pay for and to make it worse, they will take your money, give you false promises on a delivery date and will keep delaying it. If you request to cancel it as it took almost a year for delivery, they will ask you pay a penalty which was $2000 for us, quite ridiculous. We finally get our furniture and 2 weeks later realized they have termites, told one of the store guys, Chase, his response is, we can sell another piece of furniture at a discounted price! Unreal. Avoid this cheap furniture.

Horrible customer service and order fulfillment! I ordered and paid for a floor mirror in August 2022. I was told delivery was anticipated in November 2022. When early March 2023 rolled around and the mirror still had not arrived (and VERY little in the way of customer follow up), I called to collect a refund. I was told "senior management" would review and give me a call, and that I could expect that in about 5 business days. I called again on March 15 and was given the same response-I had to wait to hear from senior management before my refund could be processed, and they had quite a collection of refunds on their plate. You don't say? !

The mirror was a stock item-not a custom order, which I could understand requiring a longer delivery schedule. For the prices this place charges, I certainly expected better service all the way around. The lack of updates on the delayed delivery, and the abysmal handling of the refund request, combine to turn me off of this place, and to take the unusual step (for me) of writing this review. I fear I will never get my money back, nor will I get a mirror (which I don't even want, now).

As others have stated - I also rarely write reviews, but I feel like the complete failure of customer service on MGBW's part is worth telling others about. We ordered some counter stools (among other things) and explicitly asked the store to split ship since they were in stock. That was in July. The manager of this store typed split ship on the invoice. We discovered later that this is not the appropriate method, so after waiting a couple of months for an update we called to find out it hadn't been set up for split ship. We then started to get some items, but the counter stools had gone on back order. We still don't have them and after multiple calls to customer service and supposed escalations no one has ever reached back out to us for an update - we have had to call every time. It's notable that if I hadn't forced the split ship issue we would still be waiting on our full order.

I would also note that we ordered a console from them that we had to get three versions of and ended up settling on one that was less than perfect - so quality control is also an issue.
