Always enjoy making time to visit and restock on Japanese ingredients, snacks, and food staples. Wish there was a Mitsuwa store in Oklahoma City too.

However, they need to announce holiday hours ahead of time. Many people went to the store after closing. I did not bother to check the door and checked FB to find that they closed at 5pm.

Execellent supermarket with all kinds of Japanese goods. They have everything from matcha tea to melon soda to fresh fish to ramen ingredients to Bonito flakes and Dashi to make miso soup at home. They have a food court and bakery as well to eat while you shop, and a lovely gift shop and bookstore with anime, manga, and other items. Staff are friendly. A bit expensive, but a lovely gem for the Japanophile in Plano.

Mitsuwa is always a favorite on my list to visit when I know one is in the area when I am traveling! I love to look at the fish selection and am always amazed to see this as we do not have one in Minnesota! It was very cool to see a Wagyu cafe in this place and I had wish they were open so I could have some Japanese Wagyu! Hopefully they are open next time I visit! Looking at their selection, they had a lot in stock and not a lot of items were out of stock.

Although tasty treats abound here, I'm not entirely sure that the employees are incredibly familiar with their stock. This is because I inquired about one item in particular (that had minimal English on the packaging) when I came across someone that was employed at the establishment and then bought two of the boxed goods based on what she told me, only to find out it was nothing like the description I received. To be fair, it was something in an entirely different location within the store but I wish she simply would've told me she didn't know so I could've asked someone else about it. What I bought was delicious but I likely wouldn't have purchased one, let alone two of them, if I'd been accurately informed.

The food here is fantastic. My family and I are from out of town, so we stocked up on a lot of great products to last us a few weeks. The store is well organized, clean, and has reasonable prices. We can't wait to visit again!

For a grocery store, H Mart is by far better. It is tiny and is very touristy/gimmicky. The food court here looks awesome though. There were no available tables at the time I went so I can't speak to the actual quality, but everyone people had looked very nice.

Great store BUT the claw machines they have by the front is NOT worth playing anymore. They immediately made the claws weak and shaky after they see you win once. Now it's a scam. As if I don't pay money to play these games.

This is the only place where I can find fresh shiitake mushrooms and other organic mushrooms grown in the USA. I really enjoyed the multiple eateries inside the market, although the new ramen place is not as good as Santouka ramen. Overall I would give this place 4.5 stars.

Love this place. The food is great and the gift shop is our favorite place to hang out and just enjoy Japanese culture. We can just spend all day there.

Alright this place is good but not great. Did it remind me of when I was in Japan, yeah slightly, did it have unique items that you can't find anywhere else, kinda, honestly the meat market would be the only reason I would come hear, BUT I live more than an hour away, so if I ever make a trip out here again it will be when I have the time and money to spend.
It is definitely smaller than pictures would have it seem.
Customer service was good (in my experience).
The food hall was kind of sad, it looks like it used to be amazing, but now it's just meh.
Kinokuniya was a downgraded version of there store in Carrollton (kinda disappointing imo)
All in all when I left here I spent a pretty penny buying stuff I wanted that made me feel like I was back in Japan, and I don't regret it, I just expected better. Who knows maybe the pandemic played some factors, all in all, I recommend going for the experience at least once.

Prices on grocery items can seem high, and serving sizes small compared to what we may be used to, but the quality is all top-notch, and they also provide ice to keep your purchases fresh!

This store is wonderful. It's clean and modern and has a great selection of Japanese snacks, food, and drinks. It had almost every drink and snack that I crave when I think of Japan. The store is smaller than I expected. It would likely be hard to get a week's groceries here. However, if you're looking to grab some Japanese snacks, Boss coffee, or bento boxes, this is the place to visit. The fresh food even included Takoyaki for only 50 cents apiece! They also have a nice food court and a Kinokuniya (Japanese bookstore) in the same building. My only wish is that this location was closer to where I live!

Staff working usually really polite. Food court is typically pretty yummy as well. Really loved the karage bowl I got from the ramen stall.
