Extremely impressed by Miz G’s amazing customer service to accommodate me and my request.
I have been looking for a GOOD sweet potato pie for a long time now here in Dallas and I have finally found one!
I highly recommend Miz G’s bakery!

Delicious pies. Quick service. Friendly owner and family. I ordered a Lemon Chess and Sweet Potato pie. It was difficult to find a place that sold both. However Miz G provided both. Nicely packaged. The only suggestion to share would be to provide directions such as 're-heat' or 'serve immediately from fridge'. Thank you for your awesome service especially during this busy holiday season!

Wonderful pie & service! I got a key lime pie for my girlfriend's birthday, and she absolutely LOVES it! Thanks again for the quick turnaround and will definitely be stopping by the booth at the state fair!

Rude over the phone and in real life, she sounds judgemental if you have an accent, and feels like she is better than everyone else. Miz G also doesn't have good communication. Miz G is a very impatient and unwelcoming owner. Her pie crusts are dry and they're too sweet and uncooked.

We had a corporate event at work and we had decided to get 72 - 4inch mini pies and 2 full size pies.
I contacted Miz G about 2 weeks before my event. She is incredibly sweet and helpful! She helped me set up my order, sent me an invoice and took it from there.
Today, she arrived just early enough in our time window and really came through. These pies are DELISH! I was lucky enough to get to try a tiny bit of each flavor and every single one was incredible!
I'm so happy that we found Miz G! She's clearly passionate about her work and it def shows! We've even ordered cupcakes for the next event!

I order a cake every month if not week. This cake was her first challenge a red Velvet cheesecake. And baby let me tell you my guys at work went crazy. They all SAID THANK YOU MIZ. G.look at those pics. You haven't order from Miz. G. You missing your blessing.

Very rude on the phone. Doesn't know good customer service. Not ordering from people who don't know how to treat people nicely over the phone.

So happy I found Mz. G's! I called from Washington state asking if she could possibly make and deliver a strawberry pie for my brother who has Cancer. AMAZING and tasted even better, they said. She is a gem, truly! So kind and she went the extra mile and hand delivered it! Thank you so much!:)

We were visiting Dallas and looking for a birthday cake and pies for pi day. Based on the reviews, we call Miz G. She said that it was her day off but could still make them for us. When I picked up our order, I was blown away. The German Chocolate cake was the most beautiful cake I had ever seen. Even though it was her day off, she obviously put a lot of time and effort into making sure it was just right. It didn’t just look great but tasted amazing as well. She was so nice and even gave us some tips for fishing on the lake where we were staying. I can promise, you will not regret your decision to order from her!

Ordered a key lime pie for a friend for Christmas this year! I didn't get to try it but the feedback was that it was amazing! The pie was a little larger than a store bought pie so well worth the money! Miz G is a pleasure to work with also!

Ms. G not only accommodated my last minute order (a little over 24 hours), she exceeded expectations! Ordered a red velvet cake and it was amazing. It also doesn’t hurt that Ms. G is easily the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Thank you for making my friends birthday special! I purchased a 7 up cake and sweet potato pie from Mz G’s pies & cakes for Christmas. My family loved the 7 up cake and the pie. I’ll be back to try something else very soon. Service was great and everything was very fresh, best I’ve had in the metro area!

Hands down the best pies in Dallas. With gluten free options, delivery availability and high quality ingredients, Miz G's pies are my go-to gift for my parents (who are critical pie lovers). I've ordered from Miz G a lot over the last few years and have always been more than happy.

I have searched far and wide for THE pie. My mother has a holy commitment to finding the pie that is worthy of our dear departed grandma. I’ve come close w/Ranchmans in Ponder, and Emporium was ok, but but not quite among many others. This is on quality vs seeking an exact doppelgänger, and these are undoubtedly excellent. But then there’s Miz G.

I won’t exaggerate to say that’s a comprehensive cross country search, but I have looked extensively in quite a few major and not so major cities- especially throughout so. Cal, Las Vegas, Minnesota, Southeast Seabaord, Utah, and of course Texas particularly Houston, Dfw and Austin.

Y’all- this is the one. Trust. I am both a food scientist and a grandma’s pie kinda girl, so if you appreciate details as well as overall wow, don’t waste your time (or money!) on more expensive, bougie places. This is the real deal, and a truly neat lady to make acquaintance of. Call her in the AM and pick it up on the way home. You KNOW fresh and custom always.

I asked her upon first meet if she “could do x, y, z” and the answer was a good natured, stifled laugh that said, are you kidding- of course! And boy was she right. Buy one, and then, as the meme says- change my mind!
