MOD Pizza reviews
15My entire family love MOD.the thin crispy crust keeps us coming back for more.the beer is also a plus.
Worst place, I have been going to this shop for more than a year, but recent days quality of piza not good, last week I ordered 3 pizas and those not even half cooked and eatable at all. So not worth for money
Dined out with family at the MOD which is always a pretty good experience. Each MOD I've been to here in the Houston metropolitan area including today's visit at the Sugar Land location has always had great staff and the food is always great. Lines are never crazy long. On today's visit, seating areas were clean and no pest activity was observed.
Employees were friendly and helpful, even offered to put tomatoes on the side since she saw my husband's expression when they were mentioned.
While the pizza was excellent as always, and I enjoyed meeting old friends at this location last night, I do feel moved to complain about the drink selection. In the past this location has carried a modest selection of bottled beer AND at least one sometimes two beers on tap. Last night all they had was House Wine in cans and White Claw. GROSS. I made do with the wines but I'm not a wine drinker and they were frankly kind of disgusting and tasted sour and made my mood equally so. Put a damper on what could've been a much more enjoyable evening with friends. I am going to explore other MOD locations in Sugar Land as alternatives if this is not some temporary glitch. Beer goes with Pizza, period.
Great food, good service, and a good atmosphere. The seating area and restrooms appeared clean at the time of visit. NoNameCake is sooooooo really good- a must try if you love chocolate, IMO.
Great pizza, staff was fun. They were very careful with cross contamination as we needed a gluten free diet.
Just meh, they always get my order wrong in addition no drinks in this store except iced tea and you cannot find a lemon slice:)
Came here after a long time to grab lunch. It wasn’t too busy. The girl putting my pizza together seemed nice. There was enough toppings and sauce on my pizza. It was overall well made. I had no issues here.
I absolutely LOVE Mod Pizza. For the most part I have received really great service here. I would have given them 5 stars had I not had an accident at this location this past weekend. Went to refill my drink and a piece of the fountain soda machine was not accurately placed back on and so it ended up falling on my leg and foot. Ouch! When I reported it to the young lady at the register she seemed absolutely disinterested and annoyed at thw fact that I had brought the incident to her attention. She made no attempts to ask if I was ok. Fortunately when the incident occured a gentleman was nearby and he assisted by picking up the piece that had fallen on me. He also offered to standby and hold the piece that had fallen in place so that I could refill my cup (I declined, I was too scared to try and use the drink dispenser again). He also went and got a manager, I assumed he worked there and was off duty. Either way I appreciated his concern. The manager did come out and apologize, as well as the employee, who had issues securing that piece in place when she was attempting to fix the drink dispenser.
Like most mod pizzas, very dirty, all tables, floor behind counter when you are ordering is incredibly nasty, plenty employees, no one cleaning anything. I have found this at most mod pizza locations, they don't clean tables and that floor behind counter by oven is inexcusable. No reason they can't sweep occasionally and wipe off the tables. Yuk.also malfunctioning ice machine was unbelievably loud, very unpleasant
Some of the best pizza in the area! If you are looking for great pizza and Italian atmosphere while dining though I suggest Gino's Pizza on 3rd st in Rosenberg, TX.
The pizza is good but they need to go over food safety 101. The floors are filthy, they throw food everywhere, and no hair nets. Its always hard to find a clean table. I had to take my own hand sanitizer and squeeze it on a table and wipe it off with paper napkins to have a clean table. They also ran out of plates so I ate on a plate and my husband ate out of the box. Not rally a big deal but they clearly need more people. At least have a schedule where someone cleans up every hour or something.
My personal favorite place to get a pizza. Quick service, custom order your own pizza, and very inexpensive. The atmosphere here is great!
Love mod pizza, but depending on who makes the pizza, the toppings can be plentiful or scarce. I have had multiple occasions where the toppings felt inadequate. But still a loyal customer until I find something equal or better
