MOD Pizza, McKinney TX

Allows you to order pizza online, arrive at the location to find out "pizza machine is broken" so they can't make it. This is the 2nd time they have tried to pull this on me. Never ordering here again.

Literally stood at the counter for 3 mins before the manager who was sitting down at a table called the back to let the one worker know someone needed to order.
Then once the one worker had more guests. The manager got up to check on the pizza, and without gloves put my pizza in the oven. She didn’t wash her hands either, might I add.
Seemed to have an attitude as she removed the pizzas from the oven by slinging the pizzas on the cooling rack before placing in pizza boxes.

Warning when ordering online - Store can be closed unexpectedly, while the online order system is taking orders even though the store is closed.

2 times this week I have tried to go to MOD Pizza before 7pm and both times the claim they closing early. WHY? Does the owner or manager know these kids are closing early?

The food is good. Service is usually good till recent. It was a Saturday night and I was needing some pizza to go with my nightly games, I checked Google for the open and close times, they were open and Google says that they are open till 11. This date was updated 7 weeks ago (fairly recent). I arrived at the store at 8: 10 and they were closed. I then proceed to watch 4 more families try to walk in to get food and get turned away. This sucks I only get pizza normally close to 10 anyway. I'm not necessarily disappointed at the fact they closed earlier more so they didn't update anything, closed not just an hour earlier but 3, and left their led open light on as well. Don't recommend just get papa John's or domino's.

Tried to get an order twice but this place has people working like they don’t care for any customer. Waited 15 min in line with 2 ppl ahead of me and the worker kept moving in and out and ignored the whole line waiting to order.

The current state of this place is disappointing. My son and I have come here frequently since the week it opened many years ago. It has always been consistent quality and service. Today was a different story. With only 2 staff members on duty, service was quite delayed. The pizzas took 3-4 times longer than normal to cook. I asked one of the employees about the delay. He said they are cooking them on low to keep from burning pizzas since they are short staffed. That is fine for most of the pizzas, but it sets up for the bottoms to be burned. Ours was fine because I asked them to remove them and check. Unfortunately not all customers had the same advantage. Several were complaining about burnt pizzas and having to get refunds. Because of the delay in initial prep, the line got long. I saw many people walk in and then turn right around and leave. I wish I had. I think the most disappointing part was the adding of ingredients. They were not evenly distributed or even in amounts. The cheese was basically piled high in the middle, causing potential uneven cooking and huge chunks of just crust around the edges. The dining area was obviously unattended by staff, so soft drinks were out, trash was piled, and tables were filthy. It felt strange with no music playing. I hate to see that this place we once enjoyed is headed toward a clear spiral of being closed. If this management doesn’t make changes, this location will not last.

absolutely disappointed with this location. The staff is unorganized, confused & rude. The pizza prep guy had no clue on what goes on each pizza we ordered.he got the dough ready & was asking us for each ingredient & topping. Didn't even know if that pizza needed white or red sauce. Place wasn't busy but the employees looked lost.they made pizzas & salads and didn't know who ordered them.geez
The prep stations were dirty, messy, ingredient trays were empty with no one refilling them.

Manager on duty at 8: 30pm didn't help his staff, was absolutely rude to customers.we wouldn't go back here. How do they stay in business? Needs a better management team. The franchise owner better keep a close eye look else it'll run down even though its in a great location.

Not bad, but nothing special. Staff was nice and food was decent. The roasted garlic is worth trying if you want to mix up the traditional pizza toppings. Tried a couple of the menu items, good thin crust, but again, nothing special.

This place is so unorganized. Staff walking in circles. Waiting almost an hour for a pizza. Not that busy. Keep telling people they are still making the pizza and no one making pizzas. Saw manager refund 2 orders with frustrated customers. Will never return here. How do they stay in business?

My family and I frequent this location in McKinney as it is across the street from our home. We came in thanksgiving eve to enjoy a meal with our family and the staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. They were turning away business and telling those coming in it was to go only as they were under staffed. The manager “Jaron” refused to give to go cups for the drinks we were having as an inconvenience. This establishment is poorly ran, managed and understaffed. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

We ordered a pizza online and they made us wait 45 min for one pizza and finally they delivered a half baked one. The worst service

If you get one of the guys that know how to make a pizza, then you get a good pizza. Just get all the meat and toppings you want then them to keep piling on and you get your moneys worth. I haven’t cook it long and it’s good stuff.

Horrible experience. Waited an hour and 45 minutes for 3 pizzas and salad. When the order was finally delivered, a pizza was missing. I called, and they said they would refund my entire order. They did not refund my order and charged my card for the full amount, including the pizza I never received. The food we did receive was not very good.

Pathetic attention after having a few minutes, they tell us that they are full of orders and we must wait 35 minutes if I had said it before when I arrive I won't complain.
