I have done several different training classes with Jaz, and each and every time I leave a better shooter. I already can’t wait for my next class. Especially you ladies out there…there are 100’s of firearms instructors…none of them make me feel as safe and encouraged as Jaz does. P.s. You should definitely ask him about the chicken…

We had a great experience with Jaz. We were first timers with only one prior interaction with a firearm so we were still apprehensive and nervous. He was extremely patient and allowed us to move at a comfortable pace while reiterating safety and proper techniques. By the end of the session we had a great time and felt great shooting. I can’t wait to go back and continue working with Jaz.

I had the pleasure of working with Jaz this past weekend. And, might I add he is the BEST! His patience is like non-other! No matter how bad you may be messing up, he’s there to reassure you that you got it and just take your time. Prior to training with, Jaz; I had no clue where to even begin when shooting a gun. Our instructor Jaz was amazing. I've never shot a firearm in this manner before. He was patience, professional, extremely helpful, knowledgeable about everything, and friendly. The instructor was not just a professional, but he was also passionate and patient with me and my wife and his craft and very knowledgeable. What a great experience from start to finish. I learned a lot of useful information that could one day save my life or the life of a loved one. Of course, I hope I never have to be in a situation where it’s life or death, but why not be prepared? Jaz is a very thorough instructor, exhibits patience with students, and is easy-going as long as everyone precisely follows directions (kind of important when dealing with firearms). I’m very glad I took the certification and can take the knowledge I have acquired into the real world so that I can be as safe as possible.

I came in with a very basic knowledge and learned a lot from Jaz. Not only he was highly informative, he made the classroom portion entertaining. I left having obtained new skills and with a long list of things to continue practicing.

As a beginner, Jaz set me at ease from the first moment. The time and care he took educating me on the basics, answering a million questions, and taking me through all the steps and rehearsing before I even picked up my handgun, gave me a strong knowledge base and a level of confidence and comfort I was very grateful for to get me started. His experience is top notch and his teaching method is excellent. He knows where to step in and when to push you so you get the most out of every session. I can't recommend him highly enough. Jaz is focused, professional, and most of all fun - it's a pleasure to train with him!

This weekend was life changing for both of my sons and I. We took our Texas license to carry defense pistol and within 10 minutes Jaz assessed then corrected all of our gun handling mistakes! His attention to detail as well as his patients makes you feel safe and comfortable. Jaz willingness to assist is amazing he is open to all questions and there is no such thing as a dumb question, because he believes that very question could save your life or someone else’s. His knowledge on guns safety gun defense gun handling is amazing.
I would Highly recommend any of the courses he provides.

FYI the fee is well worth what you will receive from The Modern Gladiator Defense. Both my sons and I received so much practical information from Jaz during our Texas license to carry defense pistol class on the gun range while shooting and in the class room this weekend. What we were taught was far beyond your practical TLC training course. We Highly recommend The Modern Gladiator Defense!

If I could give Jaz 10 stars I definitely would. I’ve been taking gun and hand to hand self defense lessons from him for over a year. He is an expert at both, knows how to teach it, and he really cares about what he does. He is one of the most positive people I know. I have gained so much knowledge and self-confidence from working with him. He’s an amazing guy. What a privilege. Thanks buddy.

The LTC class that I took was very intuitive he was very hands on with showing and training how to use and handle the firearm I gained a lot of knowledge of things that I had no idea of about the law I highly recommend modern Gladiator defense.

Jaz is a phenomenal teacher. He’s highly competent, focused, attentive and fun. We did a personal family class and he helped both my 6 y.o. Son and his mom feel safe, build confidence and have a great time even though they’d never shot and handled real firearms before. Highly recommended. We’ll be working with him again.

This was one of the best choices I’ve made by far. I highly recommend him and his courses to anyone that wants to properly learn and understand true self defense. Jaz was very informative and knowledgeable. We worked with my AR rifle and Glock. He showed me various tips and techniques that I can incorporate. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. The secluded range environment eliminated any distraction.
