Moe's Southwest Grill reviews
19Food came fast and tasted great. Seemed overpriced but i guess that's airport food for you. Around 13 per meal which is probably pretty standard.
Employee tried to rip me off, tried to charge me full price for a Junior burrito. Then later I got the runs from the food. Avoid this location like the plague, there’s better food at the airport.
I'd like to preface by saying that I'm a flight attendant and I purposefully come thru DAL to get Moe's because I can't get it in Houston. I deal with airport restaurant workers all the time and they always treat employees wonderfully. I have worked customer service jobs since I was a teenager and know how to treat people well.
The gentleman and lady that were preparing food were wonderful and generous with portioning.
Then I got to the checkout and there was a younger girl there. I grabbed a water out of the cooler and was holding it and she mumbled something under her breath to me and I didn't hear her. She then shouts at me "I TOLD YOU I NEED TO SCAN YOUR WATER". So I brushed it off thinking it was a bad day for her. Then when I paid the card machine kept saying error please remove card every time I inserted my card. So as prompted, I was removing it. She then SHOUTS at me again "don't remove it" and I responded with "it said to" and she with a major attitude abrasively said "do you not know how to follow instructions". This infuriated me because you don't speak to a customer like that and someone who works in the airport and had their badge visibly displayed even more. I told her before I tapped my card I would like my tip removed from my bill as I graciously gave 25%.
Sorry to the workers that won't get a tip out from me that were kind, but that girl ruined it for everyone and I certainly won't return to this Moe's again.
Is anyone managing this place? Entire crew seems lost. I don’t how they can loose and screw up so many orders when the customer is across the counter from them. But in the time it took me to get through the line three orders had to be remade.
Thirty minutes before closing they decide to start cleaning the grills so half the menu is unavailable. If you want to stop serving food at 8: 30 then close at 8: 30. If you’re going to be open til nine, then be open til nine.
I got thru the line and then the kid put chicken in the bag so the other kid opened the whole burrito with the same gloves that he’d been counting money with. What’s the point of gloves then? When I called him out in this he rolled his eyes and gave me a big sigh and dramatically told the line they had to remake the order. Sorry I’m expecting you to follow basic food prep guidelines. Wasted twenty minutes of my short time between flights and I got no food.
Save the headache. This place should be closed if they don’t want to make decent food.
Good food especially for the airport. Good service at the place as well.
The only constructive feedback I have is Moe's Southwest grill in general needs to look at the design of their 'to go' bowls. Very flimsy and pop open unexpectedly.
Great food, great service. Brandy at the DFW location might be Moes BEST employee. She was kind, sweet, outgoing, enthusiastic and seemed to love her job. America needs more people like Brandy!
The order taker is confusing her self, when I requested for the first burrito bowl with rice, black beans, & chicken and the second bowl with no rice, black beans & tofu. After multiple tries, she still had it wrong; I received two bowls with tofu. I said, “Forget it, I’ll take both. ” What was her issue? Lack of customer listening skills. I had no mask on and spoke perfect American Standard English. I said to her several times, “I’m the customer, please listen to me. ” She appears to have ADHD or learning disability (ies). It was $28 for two bowls & it’s too high. I gave two stars because the food was delicious. If time permits, next time, I’ll wait in the long line at Chick-fil-A.
Asked for a chicken and cheese quesadilla ($12.99) the staff put a ton of veggies on it and under cooked it. In my bowl some of the rice was hard. Will not go here again
Hot garbage! This is the worst food I have ever eaten! My burrito contained a piece of “steak” that was 1”x1-1/2” of solid fat! Absolutely disgusting! The chicken was dry. The steak that was actually meat and not fat was tough! I use to be a fan of Moe’s Southwest Grill before eating here. DO NOT EAT HERE! Save your money and throw it in the trash!
Disgusting! Just put a gun to my head and take my wallet. 25$ for a bowl of slop! Moe's should be a shamed of them selfs, robbing people like that!
I ordered chicken bowl. They give you so little meat and rice. Plus, the chicken was super salty. The worst Moe’s I’ve ever eaten at
I ordered veggie burrito with tofu. I was charged for meat burrito. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the workers replied, “tofu is meat. ”
I can’t even begin to describe the greasy mess that was my breakfast burrito. The bacon was just sitting in a huge pool of grease. I was so tempted to throw it away & go somewhere else, but I spent money on it. It tasted fine. I just hope it doesn’t wreck my stomach… And it was very unpleasant to eat.
Don't eat here! I ordered food and after paying saw roaches crawling on the counter. I asked for a refund, advised staff and they still kept serving customers!
I remember watching Undercover Boss a few years ago. Very interesting show. The food looked so good.
Today I had the opportunity to try a veggie meal. Very tasty.
The one complaint is I didn't hear Welcome to Moe's!
Our second observation was. The ladies have long hair I feel should be tied back to stop them from flicking it back to get it out of their faces. Very unsanitary. I
Will be flying back and wanted to stop by to take a meal home, just hope this observation is heard and dealt with.
Employees are awful! They were so annoyed at everything! I asked the cashier if she was ok and she rolled her eyes at me.
Ordered a burrito. The flour tortilla was like rubber. The steak had a lot of gristle in it. The customer service was terrible. Employees goofing off and ignoring the customers. Pick somewhere else.
I feel more than 2 mini scoopes on the meat side, price your drinks, nobody likes being fooled on a price.then maybe organize your condiment side it's a very poor representation of the Moe's southwest grill. Make time. Thank you
Not too clean inside, small portions and ok food. Workers here dip hands (with gloves) in all food bins, so if you are allergic or have certail dietary restrictions, you may want to avoid this place.
