I enrolled my son here while it's been his first daycare experience at 2 1/2 years old, I couldn't have picked a better school. He was accustomed to being at home with a nanny so the change was very uneasy for me. Needless to say by week 2 he was excited to get to daycare, walked up to the staff with such confidence in knowing that he is having fun, is cared for and is in a safe place. You can tell he's so carefree in going in every morning and it's great to see! I can go to work and know he is in good hands, thank you ladies!

For several years we have been a family at this wonderful school. The staff have been so dedicated to raising my kids to be independent, respectful and strong leaders. They have cared for my little ones like family members and it shows in their bond with the kids. We are excited every day to go to school and the kids come home able to described what they worked on daily. Recently we switched to a “high profile” preschool and we returned to MKU- Katy within 2 weeks of leaving. We were making the switch for location reasons, but it became clear very quickly that they were lacking the structure, caring staff and the tools to meet the needs of our little one. You cannot put a price on peace of mind when it comes to the care of your child. I would recommend this school for anyone wanting a solid learning foundation and safe growing environment for their little ones. Mrs Forman has been an instrumental part of making our journey so special.

Absolutely top tier. My children love their teachers and love the atmosphere there. All the staff in the building are super welcoming and helpful. Definitely one of the best Montessori's. Cant forget the principal! So supportive and understanding! She was very attentive and patient from the very beginning. Also gave me a tour and was very impressed!

Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. It has a very homey feeling and the child to teacher ratio is great. It’s wonderful seeing my son get excited about going to school here. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to Montessori Kids Universe. Also another advantage is that they’re teaching a second language. Please keep up the great job that you ladies do.

My daughter started here a few months ago and she loves it! She has gained more knowledge here than at her previous day care in just a short amount of time. I love hearing her stories and her talk about what she learned that day when I pick her up. I am incredibly grateful for the staff that makes sure that she is safe and constantly learning.

This school is amazing! The teachers all the way to the owner are awesome! I have never had any issues! My niece attends the school and I pick her up and drop her off daily. The staff are welcoming and always make sure we know how her day went. They are quick to respond to any questions we have. I also really appreciate the great communication they have with us. I can’t say enough about this school. Well, I can. The school is clean, my niece has grown so much and has learned so much! She loves everyone at that school! Thank you MKUK for being an awesome school! I highly recommend this school to anyone seeking a Montessori school in Katy area

The daycare is amazing. The staff handles every situation respectfully, even during these hard times right now. They make sure we are safe and also our kids. The owner is very excellent at her job. The assistant director is wonderful and nice. Never had a complaint of my child. Never had my child come back with any scratches. I would recommend this daycare very much. You will love it

I would not recommend this daycare and here is why. My child began attending this daycare in January. It was mid March (during the COVID19 pandemic) that we ultimately decided she would no longer attend. As anyone in the Katy/Houston and surrounding areas including the state understood the seriousness of this pandemic. The governor even ordered a stay at home order, people were working from home, businesses were shutting down etc. We had already paid for March. MKUK stated they implemented safety precautions at the day care to include checking for temperature, not allowing parents inside, checking for sick kids, etc. Sounds good right? My child developed a fever and ultimately was diagnosed with strep throat mid March. Which she got from the daycare. When I brought this up to them, they had nothing to say. I told them being that there is a pandemic going on, my child caught strep throat from their daycare, and there is a stay at home order with social distancing, we wanted to keep her home in April or until we know the outcomes. We were not withdrawing her, we just wanted to pause daycare. MKUK without missing a beat, flat out said NO! That if she was not coming in April, we still had to give 30 days notice! I said with a pandemic, you are requiring parents to still give notice? They said yes. You are talking about almost $800 one will pay yet your child will be at home. That let me know they did not care about the children. The fact that she caught strep throat, we paid extra in March to drop her early and pick up late and we only utilized it not even a handful of times yet they were willing to still collect money from parents during such a difficult time was unbelievable. They claimed that they were remaining open for essential workers. Well I’m a clinical therapist for the hospital (essential worker) my husband was working from home, so what sense did it make for us to continue have her in daycare during a time like this? How were they honoring essentials workers like myself who tried to plead with them and they turned a blind eye. I even contacted corporate, spoke to Thomas/Tom who stated he would send an email and get back to me. He never got back to me. I sent another email a month later, nothing. I had so many other issues with this place from them not giving my child cough medicine although they had it with paperwork. They never got back to me why she was never given her medication. We were told that she would progress to the next class after she turned 2. When she turned two, she was in the same class. They claimed she wasn’t ready yet nothing in the daily notes detailed any issues. They just wanted to continue charging the higher tuition. I can only imagine how many people were forced to pay for tuition and their child was at home. Then we asked if we gave 30 days notice (their request) and we wanted to cancel it, would we still have to pay a registration fee? The so called administrator said yes! So you are forcing us to give 30 days notice so you won’t keep charging us, and if wanted to not keep her home if by a miracle this pandemic ends (obviously it didn’t) I basically will still have to pay registration fee (about$200) even if I changed my mind. Makes no sense. So again, you all are really trying to milk parents for everything they have. This is in writing by the way. So if by chance MKUK tries to discredit me by responding, I have correspondence in writing. Not one time did they check up on my child after she got strep. Not one time did they check on if she was coming in April or even May. They do not care. This is my opinion and nothing they will say to change that. When picking any daycare, you ask them how they treated their parents/children during the pandemic. I still get their emails, and May 1st they sent out an email stating that parents should call a day before returning so they can make sure they have adequate staffing. Why? You have already charged parents for the month of May, you should already have adequate staffing on hand. Period. Worse mistake was ever taking my child here.
