Montserrat Jesuit Retreat House reviews
8Have been coming here annually for the last 6 years & each time, have an amazing spiritual experience! A 3-day silent retreat spent in this magical, spiritual place is always a great reset.
This place is perfect for a spiritual retreat. Everyone is joyful and hospitable. I will be visiting in the spring.
My wife benefited from the silent & peaceful atmosphere and the wisdom from the Priests. Thank you
This is the best gift you can give to yourself or someone you love. My highest recommendation! Everything is set up perfectly so that you can rest and listen. If you’re feeling anxious, overworked, restless, depressed, and lost all at the same time, come here for the solution. The priest here are the best at what they do. What an amazing gift for the Dallas area.
In March I attended my third silent retreat in this place, it was an unforgettable experience. The perfect place to spend some time alone with Jesus enjoying 100% of God's creation. I can wait for my next retreat on June.
I was very happy. I have been here for retreats, talks, and a conference for the past 10 years. I must say that the place has been constantly improving over time. The food is very good and there are many beautiful places to meet with God in moments of prayer. Whether it's sitting in a chair facing the lake, or a wooden swing facing the sunrise, lying in a hammock, or walking in nature Highly recommended!
Update: Now I work here! I still recommend it!
Awesome retreat. 3 day silent retreat is a life changer. The Jesuits share incredible wisdom.
My only issue was how "thin" the walls are. You can hear someone cough through them and even simply walking around in the room above you. They try to get around this fact by placing "silence is golden" signs everywhere.
Other than that, certainly a beautiful and peaceful spot. The food was average.
