Moodys Travel Plaza, La Porte TX

Parking lot is fine, restrooms and showers were not acceptable. Toilet was clogged, had the clerk come fix it, then dirty toilet water all over the floor. No toilet in the shower room.not impressed with this place

$$$ parking. I've noticed that many truck stops owned by Indians charges for truck parking even if you fill up or spend money in the store.

Excellent customer service and BEEN that way since I 1st met the owner almost 20 years ago!

One of the cleanest places I’ve been in! The grounds r kept up (thanks fellow drivers also), store and drink bar, bathroom was spotless, friendly employees.

Anyone who follows me knows I seldom give 5 stars, and how I feel about paying to park, that said, here's my review

I'm impressed with the cleanliness and looks of the showers here. This is shower #2.
And only $12.00, where the national chains are at 18.
This whole place is actually pretty nice, they work really hard at keeping it clean, maybe charging to park is the way to get a better class of driver that's not a complete slob, something to think on, I guess
As for food, fully stocked convenience store, a subway, and a Cooper's chicken (really nice fried fish) with a text me cantina (really nice breakfast burritos).

If your port driver and need to spend the night close to the port this is a spot. They keep the restrooms clean and smelling good. You can grab some food. And the staff is friendly.

I wish i could give them less than one star, the reason is they are Charging very over the price and if you leave any feedback or review for them they'll call and harassing you about your feedback or review, more over they'll questioning about your religious and treating you.

I met the owner MOODY and he's super cool. This place is VERY VERY CLEAN, and better prices than Pilot and Loves. I Would recommend this place to any trucker. They actually appreciate truck drivers. It should be more locations like this. Thanks Moody for being so nice to my 2year old and fiance. Felt like home. I wish you the best and much more success.

Restaurant is mexican restaurant in a subway. If you feel you get a six inch subway free. They deserve five stars

I go to Moody’s just about everyday of the week to grab food, drinks, and snacks. The staff is awesome and friendly and the selection is great (much better selection than other nearby stations). There’s also a subway connected and a coopers chicken vendor with lots of great options. Perfect place to fill up to considering it’s cheaper than the downtown area by a long shot. 5 stars!

This is one of our favorite truck stops in the area. We stop here often because we travel this way for work. The staff knows most of the people who frequent this place and are always smiling and laughing with them. The restrooms are always clean and the place always has a fresh smell. We like chatting with the employees, as well as, with Mr. Moody himself. This place is never empty but the staff is more than able to handle the job. We usually come through to fill our tank, use the restroom and grab a snack with two kids in tow. We are usually out of there and back on the road in 10-15 minutes. We always come here because of the service and we know we will be safe, especially in the city and with our kids.

It turned out to be a good place to stop to rest. I paid parking for 15 dlls and it was worth it.
Inside the store they are very friendly, there is a lack of paper for when you wash your hands but other than that, have a good night
