Moon Tower Inn reviews
27The food is always made until you order, y enjoy a beer while you wait. My favorite thing from the menu is the Harvey Burger and Wild Boar hot dog, I can’t wait to try their jalapeño poppers one day
A great little local pub! Went here for a quiet 4th of July lunch. I had the duck brat with the apple bourbon sauce, very tasty. Literally could of eaten two more of them They have a great selection of beers to choose from. The barkeep was very knowledgeable about the beers which lead to a couple great recommendations. I ordered two different sours and Wifey had 3 different beers. The Chong burger minus the picked jalapenos was select by Wifey which she enjoyed. Tipped well to support our local businesses. Overall nice experience and will go again.
Great Beer choices, Great Food that's made fresh, and lovely outdoor area that ties it all perfectly together. Their hotdogs are amazing and if you haven't yet, try their DPO! (Onions caramelized with Dr. Pepper.) They go good on everything!
Amazing flavors with every bite! We enjoyed the lamb and pheasant dogs! The customer service matches the food, next level! We will be back…
Best hot dogs in town! Monday lots of beee and tuesdays outdoor vintage movies, what else can you ask?
Ask chef seasoned if you love spicy ️
Waited an hour and twenty minutes for a burger and pimento cheese with a pretzel. Our friends got their food and ate and then we waited 20 minutes more minutes before we started to get irritated and start checking on our order status. The first two times we asked, the guy at the bar said the kitchen was just backed up. The third time, he said, it's the nature of the beast and our food might be on the second wave. He never seemed at all apologetic or admitting any mistakes but they clearly lost our order. I'm now learning they are known for slow service and poor customer service so this likely wasnt an unusual happening. Lack of accountability, weak beer selection, would never go here again.
Great dogs filled with overflowing toppings. Combined with an excellent selection of brews to relax and enjoy your environment
Great place for an warm evening, outdoor seating and cold beers. They have good specials like "Mug Mondays" and movie nights on a projector screen. Overall a nice local place. The hotdogs ain't bad either.
This place is pretty awesome. I met up with some friends here because they kept telling how great it is. It did not disappoint. I tried the Rabbit dog but next time I am going for the elk or the wild boar. It's a great place to hang out with friends.
Hot dogs are perfection (try the venison dog with the "chef's choice" toppings), amazing beer selection. Only thing that would make it better would be some fans
This is the dive bar you don't hear about from guy fietzo. Rotating tap with over 30 lines, small gastro menu and outdoor seating with a movie screening once a week. One of my go to spots and a back up anytime plans don't workout elsewhere. The staff is knowledgeable of their beer. The stoner inspired menu features gourmet ingredients for some dirty bar food; wild game hot dogs, burgers with inspired toppings and some of the heartstoppingest appetizers.
Super chill place to hang with friends! They serve several craft beers on tap plus have a menu of guilty pleasures like hotdogs with sauerkraut and stuffed bacon-wrapped jalapeños! It’s completely outdoors and there are only single stall restrooms for men and women.
Great beer selection - no cocktails - and a few ciders/wines. Only has outdoor seating available - many have shading. The hot dogs are crazy concoctions. The most traditional dog I found on the menu was made of wagu beef, which was ok.
One of my favorite spots in Houston! Good beer, good hot dogs with all sorts of meat, and an awesome wolves mural to complement it all. It's all outdoors so be prepared to sit in the Texas heat, but it's nicely lit with string lights and has covered areas in the event of rain.
Huge beer selection, huge outdoor seating area, great food, outdoor fans, trees, covered patio and super gross bathrooms.
Plenty of street parking.
Very good. For people who love super spicy food I recommend getting the hell sauce on the side or your burger or hotdog and give it a try. It's a good place to chill outside with friends and have a round or beers.
Great place to hang out and eat. Only downside is that you have to wait a really long time for the food to be ready
Parking can be a pain if you get there after its packed. The food took a little long to come out and those are the only two reasons why it's a four star. Everything else about the place was pretty cool. At night the place just gives off a great vibe, lots of places to sit, lots of talking and laughter amongst friends. Food was messy but super delicious.
Awesome food, awesome beers, and the staff are laid back, and very friendly, and willing to help you find what you want, or, something new
I live a few blocks away from here and always enjoy my strolls to eat an nice vegan option. The staff is always friendly.
