Good service and quotes on the spot. Most of their stuff is really expensive for the size. That's to be expected at a nice nursery though

We purchased a tree from MVN a little over a month ago, and had a couple of hiccups with scheduling and the initial crew that came out (the tree wasn't planted properly), but Nico fixed everything to our satisfaction. He was SUPER helpful, extrememly responsive to calls and texts, and took complete ownership of our particular situation, right up to coming by our house after work and completely RE-PLANTING the tree the way it should have been done the first time. I can't say enough good things about the AMAZING customer service we received from this nice gentleman, who went out of his way to help us, explained things clearly so we could understand the dynamics of professional tree installation, and set our minds at ease knowing that it had ultimately been done right!

Went in about a month ago. I was really shocked at the price of these trees. We were looking for a shade type of tree, but did not purchase because it was $800. Decided I’d get some hibiscus and some other “showy” flowering plants for now. When I saw the price of the hibiscus, I left. There is no way that I would pay the asking price when I can go to Home Depot and get the same plant for 50% less.plus Home Depot has a 1yr guarantee that I DON’T have to pay extra for. When I made the comment about how expensive everything was and that it was ridiculous to charge that amount, the guys said “it’s a lot of work” and then walked off. We didn’t see anyone else after that. 3 stars because they have a nice selection. 0 stars because they are way overpriced.

Purchased a combined $5k in trees and warranties on llate 2020. They got hit by the freeze. I guess we'll find out what that insurance was worth as we navigate if and when we get the trees we want replaced. So far no luck. The more I wait, the more I remove stars. I started calling over a month ago going on two. Another star came off.

Do not buy from this place, their business practices are shady and would say that even discriminatory, as we are south-american’s and I could not help it but to feel that my money is worth less in their eyes.
We went there to buy a tree, we selected the one we wanted, however since we had already paid our landscaper for the tree we put 50% down to reserve it and told them our landscaper would pick it up by the end of the week and pay the remaining balance.
They said that was ok and would reserve the tree so it would not be sold to somebody else.
When our landscaper arrived to plant the tree, to our surprise it was not the tree that we have selected, was actually about half the size of the one we had picked.
We went back assuming they had made an honest mistake and to our complete appalment they had actually given us another tree knowingly. They never called to tell me they were sending me another tree or even to offer my money back as they had decided to sell the tree to someone else, AFTER we had already paid to reserve it.
They never apologized or offer any resolution, we had to demand to get our money back, and even them they didn’t unload the tree, we had to do it, when they were obviously in the wrong.
Horrible business would never buy anything from this place.

Moon Valley is more than a place to pick up plants or choose nice trees. From their website I decided to drive out to see what trees they had available after the Texas freeze killed most of my landscaping and focal point tree behind my pool. When I got out of my car and saw everything they had I was so impressed. The place is Huge! I was also lost wondering how I’d choose something. But within minutes a had the nicest people asking me if I needed any help. Because I had no idea what I should get, and I’m honestly not much of a designer, I needed more help than just choosing a tree. Amanda looked at my photos and walked around with me discussing several options. You would have thought she was designing landscaping for her own yard. The passion she has for what she does and the customer care are above and beyond anything I’d expected. I was there for a couple hours deciding what I wanted. And even after 2 weeks and reading more info about the original tree that I choose (a beautiful mountain laurel) I decided that I needed something different due to the pods that fall off the laurel being toxic to animals, it was no problem at all. She located this nice Vitex at another location for me. I couldn’t have done all this without help. All but a few of the plants in the picture I bought there.and it turned out beautiful! Besides the care she gave during that day she took care of me after we had a delay in delivery, giving me this pretty mandavilla. Their delivery and planting was great customer service as well. Cody, who was the head of the crew that came out to plant, and the crew, were the best. Cody was friendly and a hoot to to be around. They worked with great care around the plumbing by the pool and sprinklers and I had 30 minutes of laughing and talking while they got the job done. You’d think they were my friends, not just people doing a service. He even left me an extra bottle of their moon juice fertilizer to use later with no charge. So if customer service means something to you, and you need a great quality tree/plants this is the place to go.
I didn’t get paid for this review or personally know anyone there. I just had to give them a nice shout out for the helpful, friendly caring customer service. It’s very rare to find!

Cody and crew just planted the most beautiful shumard oak tree in my yard! They were so very helpful and did a fabulous job. I highly recommend Moon Valley.

I am a regular customer at the Moon Valley Nurseries, located at 23420 I-45, Spring TX 77373. I went to purchase five Hugh trees in May to replace the dead ones after the deep freeze in February. Ms. Shelsie was very patiently and helpful in explaining and answering the questions I had. She also planned and coordinated the delivery date. Their business increased threefold due to the pandemic, the trees wouldn’t be available until June17th.

At the delivery date, Mr. Nico Albarran (a Nursery Specialist and a leader of two men crews) came to my house on time. They dug, planted, mulched, fertilized, watered and did everything excellently to make sure the plant would grow perfectly so that I can enjoy the new yard!

Nico is a pleasant, friendly and polite person. He is a hand on and strong leader (ex-Marine). Nico also is a thoughtful boss to his crewmen - John and Blaine. They worked very hard, diligently and efficiently.

I believe he should be commended for his professionalism. Once again, I appreciate Mr. Nico Albarran’s help. The success of the business is not only to have good products but also to have the people service them. Mr. Nico Albarran is a prime example.

Beautiful plants but about double the price of anything you would pay any place cells. Large knockout roses are $40 summer 50 to home depot and by the same thing for 24.95. Remind back over to look and some palms in the beach gone up anywhere from 500 to $2500 apiece. There located on I 45 just South of the Woodland and i guess there planning on the new development in the woodlands to help pay for all those trees will be looking on Barker cyphers and down by Sugarland for what were one income not going to spend $10000 for something i can get for $5000.
Plant are healthy and big selection but it would cost about $100,000 to do a front yard. We have bought a lot of big pams from them.

Came here and worked with Jeff at one of their sites and Amanda at the other. I was just WOWED by how friendly and genuine everyone I worked with here was and how great Amanda treated my girlfriend and I. It felt like we were long time friends after just a few minutes. She set us up with the perfect solution to our problem and got us the best pricing and free delivery and installation of everything. Truly great experience, and I'll be back soon to complete my other garden/landscape projects, but I'll be sure to refer all of my friends here too.

This is where bad used car salesmen go to die!

Avoid this place like the plague! Unethical! They overcharged me by over $3,000 and I had to make several calls and trips to get the pricing corrected and a refund. Clinton has not returned any of my calls since April 7th (today is May 10th). He was supposed to pick out a tree from their farm and send me photos on April 8th. I can’t get a return call and he has not picked out a tree. We personally picked and tagged a specific Japanese Maple, they attempted to deliver and install today (two days earlier than scheduled) and the Japanese Maple they attempted to push on us is no where close to the tree we physically saw and selected, and still haven’t seen the $3,000+ Red Oak we were supposed to have seen over a month ago. We’ve refused delivery and can’t get a call back. They have been a nightmare to work with!

Well cared for plants with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Prices are a bit steep, but the plants are also more mature and very healthy.

Excellent, cordial gentleman very helpful and placent personality. Thank you we are very pleased.

Excellent service from Mark Hamilton, extremely knowledgeable and found varieties which met our needs perfectly. The installation crew were on time, efficient and careful.

I bought a Meyer Lemon tree as a Christmas present for my hubby. The tree did great in our backyard. Then the snowstorm of 2021 hit. Despite our best efforts, our tree didn’t make it. I had purchased a warranty at the time of the sale. Honestly, I dreaded the experience of replacing the tree. I went in armed with receipts, pictures, and invoice, ready for a battle. Steve, the manager, was the person who helped us. So professional and nice. He just looked up the account and no questions asked. We picked a new tree and that was it. It will be delivered and planted in our backyard soon. Excellent service and, most importantly, they keep their word.

A great variety of trees, but you're better off coming in to see what they have instead of calling. They'll tell you they have what you are looking for just to get you here then you find out they really don't have what you were looking for.

They have large variety of trees. I shopped around at other nurseries in Spring, woodland area. And I can honestly say they have the best quality trees. They also have beautiful planter pots that we could not find anywhere else in Houston. They also have great promotions a lot of times.
Most importantly, they provide the best customer service I have ever experience.
The manager Bret helped me today and it was a great service from the minute I walked in the door. He is very welcoming and and super nice. The wait time is minimum although they were really busy. I would not shop anywhere else.

Have been buying Trees from Moon valley for the past 5 years. My clients have been very happy with their trees.
