From start to finish a great experience. Purchased two trees.a (Giant) Magnolia and a (Block) Monterrey Oak. Chance was a great, knowledgeable, no pressure salesman. Now on to the crew that installed the trees. Simply amazing! Arrived on time, planted both trees, triple staked both, nice mulch berm, and explained watering and maintenance schedule. Cleaned up work area. They even took a blower to my driveway to clear very minor dirt. Highly recommend.

Angel and his team did an outstanding job for a difficult plant. I highly recommend them for your most challenging planting needs.

Very helpful, knowledgeable and respectful service. We bought our trees a month or so ago and the Digging/Planting crew showed up promptly and worked diligently. Angel V.and his crew did a great job as did the digging crew (sorry, I don't remember the leads name). Though you may pay a little more for their trees, they come healthy and full. Everyone was friendly and professional. I look forward to working with them again.

We have bought 5 trees from Moon Valley over the past two years and they have been great from start to finish. Angel and his crew were out at our house yesterday to plant the last two trees that we bought and Angel and his crew were the best. They planted the trees where we wanted them and then checked on the other three trees that we had bought from them last year and adjusted the poles. The crew cleaned everything up and even pulled out a leaf blower to clean up the dirt from the road that came off the truck. Highly recommend them.

If it wasn't for Nick I would never have purchased or recommended this nursery after my last experience with them. Details below but long story short Nick has been honest, responsive, extremely helpful, and has gone above and beyond my expectations to resolve my grievances. The 5 stars are for Nick:)
My overall experience with Moonvalley is below, but this post was mainly to give Nick a positive shoutout:)

I have made 2 purchases so far. One good, one not so great:

First went perfect! Ordered 3 trees in 2020 (I think) with warranties. Everything went smoothly with no issues, trees are still lovely except for our monetary oak that got damaged during snowmageden (warranty replacement went smoothly) and our red oak (imoprtant for later)

Second was a bit of a mess to say the least. We have a rather large yard which had only 1 tree and nothing but dirt when we bought it. After our first purchase (and laying out 4 trucks of dirt with 13 pallets of sod all on our own) our yard has really come around! So we decided to go big in 2022 and and order 8 more trees (no warranties because it's per tree and that adds a lot to what we were already spending, considering snowmageddon was a fluke didn't think it would be an issue) in a Fall package deal with some shrubs.

Delivery was a mess (the crew was nice no issues with them specifically). However, they brought extra trees that we weren't supposed to get, one tree that we had to wait to come back in stock was brought in a much smaller size than what we paid so we had to send it back, and the knock out roses we got were beat up looking compared to when I originally tagged them, but I figured a little TLC would fix that (it didn't and I should have said something but oh well).

As for the missing tree we paid for it took an ABSURD amount of calls, promises of managers calling me back which never did, me going down in person, and finally getting lucky enough to call AGAIN and have a new manager happen to answer the phone to get my refund for the 8th tree we never got. After this I decided I wasn't going to purchase from them ever again due to the horrid experience

Here's where Nick comes in. A few months ago I noticed fungus growing on my red oak. Did my best to treat it but after talking to some arborists learned the tree has apparently had issues for awhile by this point (planted less than a year ago) and the fungus was growing because despite the leaves being there, the trunk already basically dead and rotting allowing that fungus to grow.

So I called rather upset so they sent their arborist Nick Debs to come take a look since I was now worried about the total of ten trees they have planted and wanted their opinion on why my red oak was suddenly dying.

He was honest and so polite, agreed with some of the concerns I had and informed me of things I was not previously told about when I originally purchased any of these trees. He agreed the red oak was done for and since it was from our first purchase there was no way to cover it under warranty.

I only expected to find some resolution regarding the Red oak (or at least some confirmed closure) but he went above and beyond! He helped me remove all the wooden stakes (which should have been removed after 4 months but I wasn't told that) and offered to backdate the warranty on two of my newer trees that despite surviving being snaped in half during the ice storm had gone into shock during our heat dome since we were still within a year of planting.

He provided me with a thoroughly detailed care plan for all my lovely trees, arranged a reasonable price for replacing my red oak and a new fertilizer package enough to care for all of my trees (as well as other tips to keep in mind going forward to keep my trees happy and healthy).

My experience with Nick has completely changed my feelings regarding Moonvalley and if for some crazy reason I need more tree's I feel I would defiantly consider them in the future:)

Great trees and teams. We purchased 3 beautiful, healthy trees that were carefully selected to fit our planting requirements. The protection plan was a big part of our decision. Moon Valley was helpful, professional, polite and patient through the entire process - sales to install. In ground planting in Austin is very challenging. Angel Veintidos and the pondsprings5 install team were great!

I got my pineapple guava tree delivered by Angel Veintidos and his crew. They were very neat and professional, the process was quick. Angel gave me some great tidbits about how to care for my new tree. I can't wait to get my next tree from them.

First visited rwo years ago when we started to build our house. Went back after deciding we did not want to do the digging ourselves. Our salesman Harrison was great - walking us to what we wanted and providing honest answers to my wife's questions. On the day of delivery and planting, Josh and his crew arrived on time and got to work. Despite the limestone hiding under the dirt, it was a fast and efficient process. He went over the care with my wife and they cleaned up all the dirt and rocks! Highly recommend!

I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for the outstanding work, Angel Veintidos and his team did in removing and planting new shrubs in my flowerbed. I commend him and the team on the professionalism and efficiency; they had a plan! Angel is always very courteous and respectful.

Came with my parents for some plants for their home and Gavin helped us out. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He listened to understand what we wanted and was able to make some awesome suggestions and go above and beyond to help us out. Ended up getting a lot of plants and being excited to see their growth! Highly recommend!

Absolutely professional services received from start to finish with Moon Nursery. We had our trees installed on 11/08/2023 by Angel Veintidos and his crew. They did an amazing job and were very efficient while here. I’d highly recommend Moon Nursery to anyone looking for quality trees, plants, etc.
