MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, Southlake TX

I ordered a vegan patty cheeseburger and paid for some premium veggies.
They put the vegan patty on top of a beef patty on top of all the veggies.
Common sense is surely not common.

Somethings gone horribly wrong at mooyah.
The burger was dry and flavorless. The onion strings are still exactly as expected. That's nice.
They changed the queso. It's now the same gelatinous goo they serve at Taco Bueno. Difference is I've never spent $25 on my lunch at Taco Bueno. Not a good look. Likely my last visit.

First time at this place and last! Overpriced food, burnt fries, soggy homemade chips and the smallest hamburger patty you'll ever see for the price! Had to tell them about the soggy chips that should have been crunchy if they where " fresh ". After lettimg them know, I was given fresh fries instead and then noticed how bad the 1st set of fries where. Cooked with old dirty oil or simply put they where yesterdays fries! I was so put off I just didn't even eat the dark fries or tell them about it. Then my daughter and I just shared the prepared right ones. Huge difference in color! We went right when they opened, don't understand why they would give burnt looking fries on the 1st batch and non crunchy chips? They charge too much for such low quality control! Overall the burger was tasty but the patty was for a 4 year old! Very small and flat. More lettuce and bread than anything else! Definitely too small to serve to adults! Atmosphere was decent but low quality gets me to put them on a list of a place I'll never go back too! Just like their wall says, Ridiculous!

The food was good. It was a little bit more expensive than was warranted by the portion sizes. But it was tasty. And the staff was lovely.

Amazing burger place for any occasion, their burger bun is freshly made, meat is great! Chips and fries has so many choices!

Burger was good but my fries were a little burnt. The place wasn’t really clean. Dirty tables and I wasn’t able to use the salt and pepper shakers because of how dirty they were. Price was a bit high.

I went twice in one week because my experience was so delicious. I had the double cheeseburger and then went back later in the week for the mushroom Swiss burger with fried onions. The shareable fries are enough gir a family of 4. Oh so fabulous!

Many tables & Booths not cleaned, no Salt or Pepper on table,
Staff of 5 or 6 kept joking/talking all the time we there and did not seem interested in doing anything to help clean the place.
This was at the Mooyah Southlake location on Oct/01/2023 around 1: 45 to 2: 00 PM. Burgers were fair, Order was not understood and ingredients were missing.

Floors dirty and sticky. Tables not cleam. Salt and pepper shakers unusable due to being dry and hard. Outside front door filthy with dead crickets and dirt caked on concrete.

French fries were good. Strawberry shake was good. But my burger meat tasted sour or something. Took it back and they fixed me another but it tasted just as bad. Could not eat it.

I came on national cheeseburger day where you buy a drink or shake and fries and get a free cheeseburger. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and mustard but got a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and mushrooms. I was charged for the mushrooms, so the burger wasn't free and I like mushrooms and would have been OK with that if they would have been seasoned well but they weren't. So trying to use the salt shaker I found the salt would not come out. I also was charged for a drink and shake when I only ordered a shake. I was overcharged for 2 things, so like I said I didn't get a free cheeseburger and did not eat one either due to the fact the meat tasted bad.

The food was mediocre at best. I can think of so many places to get a better burger. My first and probably only visit was not impressive. The prices were incredibly high for something so mediocre. The burger was ok, but not worth the price they charge.
$7 for a small coffee milkshake that barely even had any flavor. It was literally bland. I didn't even finish it.
I seriously cannot imagine wasting my money or time coming here again.

Edit: The owners responded to this review and asked me to contact them so they could "make things right". So I did. I contacted them, exactly how they requested for me to do. Then I never heard another word from them. I absolutely cannot recommend this place to anyone. There are so many other places that have better food at a lower price. If over-priced mediocrity is what you're looking for, then yeah, this may be the place for you. Otherwise, just avoid it.

I haven't been to a Mooyah Burgers in years. I was expecting it to have gone downhill but was pleasantly surprised. The location was clean, the staff welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent. I'm glad I stopped by.

My son, who is a minor attending a driver's ed class a few doors down from the the restaurant, went in and got some snack during his break with a twenty dollar bill. When he got home I had noticed that the receipt showed him paying ten dollars leaving him short changed by ten bucks. I called the restaurant to explain the situation and the manager on duty, Taylor Morris, was very understanding and apologetic and wasted no time to tell me that the money would be refunded.
I appreciated him believing in what I was telling him. I went in and a cashier handed me the ten dollars which I left in the tip jar for the employees who are all very honest and hardworking. Thank you for the pleasant experience!

This place is perfect, the atmosphere, the food is fresh, super delicious hamburguer, fresh fries and incredible shakes.the attention is super wonderful. Very nice place!

Phenomenal food. Do you love home made burgers? This is the best burgers you will ever have. Don't forget to request the sweet potato fries for an unbelievable experience.
