Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - Airport

Filthy motel. Disgusting green water in the pool. The foreign employees have no cultural awareness of Texas civility. They yelled at us when we were 10 minutes late checking out. They called the police. And the elevators smell like weed. The back parking lot is littered with acorns and HEB shopping carts. There is no card security on the front entrance. Anyone off the street can gain access to the hallways, fitness room, and laundry room.

The rooms was clean and comfortable, the service wasnt all that the clerk was really rude asked a question about my reservation and I felt belittled after leaving the desk, if they don't like there job maybe she should find another one, I travel a lot n stay in different places but this was one of those places I remember cause of how I felt

Nice clean rooms, good amenities, vending machines and laundry all with friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Front desk needs work on customer service. This place also has roaches like crazy.dirty place in general. Only here due to work trip. Avoid if possible!

The man at the front desk is an angel. He greeted us and was very welcoming. Room was clean and the sheets are extra soft! 10/10 recommend if you are ever in the area.

Front desk was not polite when I requested a refund because there was a roach in my room. I discovered the roach after cleaning out the tub with my own cleaning product and cleaning the entire floor in the room which I m glad that I did because it was filthy too. I showed her the photos I had taken of the roach and she told me that she needed to see if I had “used the room”. I explained to her nicely that I pulled the sheets back to spray the bed with Lysol and cleaned the room. She came back and was upset at me because she wouldn’t be able to sell the room! I believe she was upset that I told her and showed her in front on guests that just walked in and decided not to stay in a roach motel. I will not book with the chain ever again.

Back from my comment before I had to go to Walmart just to get allergy meds due to me waking up with a stuffy nose because of the mold I get back and my room was wide open housekeeping across the hall cleaning that room even tho my door was open I have not checked out yet. The man at front desk gave me problems told me I need to come back later because he didn’t have cash on hand told me I need to sit down and be quiet my husband started speaking he was giving a attitude to my husband and said the same thing even said property manager not on the site they on another site. Husband said he not waiting that long he needs to call someone I called guest relations to file a report the representative heard what was going on then next thing you know someone came from back asked for my id and gave me my refund but threw my id and cash at my husband still didn’t give a receipt. Same lady that was upstairs cleaning rooms was the same lady that came from no where and gave me my money back in a rude way.

Older male in front desk wich is the manager/owner kept my necklace, and told me it mustve been my imagination that i left it in room, SMH dont leave nothing behind he will keep it and say it wasnt there that you can ask the housekeepers! ‍️

There was zero mention of a deposit until we checked in. Then we were told that it was going to be $55 but only $50 would be given back because of what their system charge. The lady that checked us in was very short with us when we were asking questions. We finally get to our room and it's humid and musty.clears up a few minutes after we turn the air on. The floors were stickyand the bathroom wasn't clean. The smoke detector had a plastic bag taped over it, pretty sure that's illegal. Of course I have pictures to prove it. My husband went to ask for an extra pillow bc the room came with 3 very flat ones and she told him there were no more pillows to give out. She then put her headphones back on and continued to watch her show, while he was still talking to her. Upon checking out, the guy up front was also rude. Sorry for interrupting your show but we needed to check out. He left us at the front to go check our room to make sure there was no damage, came back and said okay you're good. The proceeded to SHOO me away. Excuse me!? I asked for a receipt and he literally huffed and said fine you wait. Everything was an inconvenience for them.

Zero was not an option other wise i would have give them zero. Rooms were filthy and dirty bed sheet were dirty and the front desk employees were not so friendly i would tell any one who looks for a hotel please stay away from this hotel

Booked a king size room for 56 dollars a night, told the hotel we would be there at 7-8 am and when we went to clock in, the lady at the desk told us that we needed to wait (explicitly outside of the building) until 3 pm. So we literally sat outside in the Texas heat from 6: 30am till 3pm.
When we went inside, I told them about the reservation and the same lady came up and said the total, which was now somehow 243 dollars. The initial reservation said 56 a night, plus the fifty dollar deposit. We stayed for a single night out of the two we booked and went to check out at 2: 30 that day so we could get a refund on at least some of that charge. The lady said “sorry check out was at 11, my housekeeper is already gone” and only offered the deposit back.
So now we got scammed out of over 100 dollars, which me and my wife needed. Horrible experience and I will actively tell people how horrible motel 6 is every time it’s brought up

Also When we got in the room, there was no amenities whatsoever, no shampoo, the toilet paper was mangled, the remote for the tv didn’t work for the duration of the stay, and the water was absolutely scalding in the shower, it had to be on just about fully cold to be useable.

The staff was nice nothing to say bad about the staff it was overpriced at $110 a night for a Motel 6 and their pets allowed so the carpeting in the Halls was stained with pet urine it just could have been a little bit nicer and a little bit cheaper oh and the TV didn't work for the first day I was there

Most of these reviews are fake. Long term tenants are definitely spiteful, depressing to be around and seem jealous of visitors who have jobs and can afford a nightly stay at a hotel rather than a permanent one.

Skip this hotel, music blares all night, worst tenants wake up at 10: 30 PM to do “business. ” Reeks of cheap weed and vice.

Hotel is run down. Staff can’t keep up and doesn’t bother trying. But hey man. $85/n

We checked out early, were told we would receive a refund, were never issued one.

Room was filthy. Toilet running over! Unfriendly staff preferred watching TV instead of doing her job. Plus I was charged a cleaning deposit. Really I left and demand refund. I wish I could upload pictures it was awful

I reserved the room through hotels.com, when I got to the hotel they ask for my credit card and said they will add 50 dollars for deposit and be returned the next day at 11 am. 3 days later and still on my account, they gave me a room that someone was staying in. Second room was dirty.
