Moviehouse & Eatery by Cinépolis NW Austin

The food has gone downhill since the ownership change - it was bad! This was our favorite place to catch a movie pre-pandemic and we are not sure that we will be back. Recently went to see Shang-Chi and we were all disappointed by the food. The menu has significantly shifted and the quality declined. Probably won't go back for a while since c. $200 to see a movie and eat bad food is not what we are in to. Other than that, the service was good and the experience enjoyable. We did notice that many of the seats are really worn now and look like they are from a flooded basement.

We love Moviehouse & Eatery. The recliners are comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the sound is immersive. This is our “goto” theater.

Was once an amazing experience coming here (was our go to for YEARS). Won't be back after our last visit. Dirty tables, poor service, cold food, overpriced drinks ($7 fountain drinks is laughable) the only good thing about this place is the seats. Cinepolis is clearly a absolute joke of a management company and has absolutely ruined this theater. And I was told they will be removing more items from the menu slowly. $92 for 2 people to have a bad experience is a expensive mistake made only once. Thankfully we are fortunate enough to have other dine in theater options in Austin so no big loss. Save you money, unless you plan on just watching a movie. Keep in mind that 2 tickets and 2 drinks will run you $30.

The food is great and the seats are comfortable. I wish they kept selling the lollipop chicken though.

For the fact that I hadn't gone out see a movie in over a year, I'm glad to see the service hasn't changed.

Good service; food was average and certainly nothing to try again; adequate staffing considering there was 10% capacity and yet empty plates of food were never taken away; no refills offered; Mai Tai was poorly made. I wouldn’t recommend and I won’t return.

We loved coming but the new ownership has changed prices and quality of food.

Never had a problem going to this theater, it's a clean place, the seats are nice and like all other theaters like these the service can be a little lacking. Aside from the service I've got to say that since the chain was bought out by Cinepolis the menu options have been drastically reduced and so has the quality. To the point that only the drinks and popcorn is what I'm most comfortable in ordering.

My oh my I love pretzels. And let me tell you, this place makes me some good pretzels. Not only does this place have the pretzels that are the best kind of pretzels, this place has the best kind of people. Thank you to my waiter (and now my new friend I hope) London. Cool name too. I used to be the biggest fan of Moviehouse, but the wrecking ball you took to the menu left me very dissatisfied. There are way fewer options, and the options you do have don’t taste nearly as good as they used to. All of my favorites, like the fried pickles and the backyard BBQ pizza, are gone. Also, the screen I went to was weirdly dark. The staff is still incredible though.

Great movie theater! The food was really good, I was actually surprised! Connor is who waited on us and he was great extremely patient, I had to ask for water multiple times which I never received other than that he was great. Oh and their drinks were good too I had a Margarita and it did not disappoint. I will return!

We used to LOVE coming here, however, since the new ownership takeover I can’t say the same.
Upon arrival the seats were still dirty from previous show.
Then we ordered our food which wasn’t even hot, it was lukewarm at best.
When we got the bill, I realized they’re charging $7 for regular fountain drinks, I’m not sure how they can justify that price for a watered down coke which they never once refilled.
We will not be coming back. But at least the movie was good.

I love love love this place. They recently changed ownership but the food quality, service and overall experience is still outstanding. The fully reclining chairs make the movie experience feel like home. You might expect a place like this to have mediocre bar food but it’s really a lot better than that. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. They also serve alcohol. Prices are also reasonable. Everything about this place make the movie watching experience a special one.

Awesome place, great menu with health salads for dinner, great drinks, friendly stuff and the seats are just like your couch at home, super comfy prices are

The food is fine-ish. It's what you'd expect from a movie theater. The prices have increased though.

Really enjoyed our experience as I am from out of state and do not have one of these near where we live
