Mr. Taco 3, Brownsville TX

This rating is more so on the customer service, or rather the lack of customer service, this establishment provided. I waited for almost 15 minutes at the drive through waiting on someone to take my order. People walking by not even letting me know that they would be with me in a moment, it wasn’t until I was waving them to me like a maniac that they finally came to help. It truly felt that they were all going out of their way not to take my order, seeing as so many ladies walked by and looked at me. I will not be dining here again. Food is one thing but a lack of customer service is something else.

I will never go to Mr Taco again! I usually go there at least once every 2 weeks. Today 1/19/23 I went to pick up an order or 3 tostadas and beans. I got the green salsa and the red. I get home and added green salsa to the first 2 tostadas so then I used the red salsa on the 3rd tostada and OMG I took a bite and the salsa smelled rotten. I immediately took the salsa and tostada back to the drive thru to get my money back and told Liliana the worker there to smell the salsa. She refused to smell it and said she could only give me back my money for 1 tostada because I had eaten the other 2 tostadas. What an insult. I was so upset and told her I would never ever come back. Teach those workers how to resolve complaints. Every where else you go if your not 100% satisfied with the service then they give you your money back or a credit for the next time. Sad how I did not enjoy the plate. I learned my lesson never ever will I recommend this place of go back.

Incredibly rude staff. They got my order wrong so obviously I call to let them know they gave me 7 tacos less than what I asked. The lady kept giving me push back over the phone insisting that she put the taco in my bag. She didn’t. After going back and forth she finally tells me I can go pick up the tacos. When I get there she gives me pushback again saying that she put them in my bag. I again tell her that she didn’t. The tacos we got were the wrong order and they were cold so that’s how I know they had been sitting there for a while. She finally agrees to give them to me but then starts talking about me to the other staff. So disrespectful. Never coming here again.

Poor quality food! Everything seems to be cooked days before or it's old. I ordered tacos, torts and tostadas and not one was any good plues they mestup my order!

I was charged for beans that were supposably complimentary and not to mention almost $2: 00 for a 12 ounce canned soda. Food is overpriced and is nothing different from all the other taco places. Definitely not a return customer.

Every time I go I always see customers get their food before me even though I had ordered first. Had me waiting for 30 minutes and to top it off one of my tacos had a hair that looked like a pube. Definitely don’t recommend coming here

Not one of their best locations here in Brownsville. The meat tastes bad. The taco tortilla itself is alright. Would go to another of their location.

The tacos were delicious! They were made just like I wanted. I asked for crispy tripe and that's how they made them. They waitress was very friendly and courteous.

The food was good. Archive was excellent. The server went it of her way to see that we were comfortable and the food was not cold.

Honestly, best tacos in town. Ultimo taco was good back in the day but they've lost their touch. Haven't had any tacos as good as these anywhere in town.

As far as the service goes it was excellent but the food was somewhat to be desired. I ordered tripitas but I specified that they be soft, and I got sort of crispy ones. It could be that they only do them one way but our server didn't say otherwise. Then I ordered a special order of beans (frijoles especiales) that come with bistek, shredded white cheese and avocado. Well, I've tasted much better. The red sauce they added overpowered the real taste of the bistek. It didn't have enough taste to it. Overall, the taste was below average.

I had no idea what I was ordering and nobody spoke English. The food looked wonderful but I didn't care for the food that I had received.

It had a combination of everything.even menudo! Weird. I'd choose a different one. Not this one.
