Mt. Pleasant Family Dental, Mt Pleasant TX

Overall, just a bad experience. Would not recommend. Went in because I saw the reviews were good and needed to find a good dentist since moving back into the area. Was pushed into getting care credit after going back and forth with the lady saying I will just pay for what ins does not cover out of pocket. Was told I needed my wisdom teeth removed, they went ahead and charged my carecredit for the procedure that wasn’t done yet. (I wasn’t mad about it at the time because I genuinely thought they cared about my dental health) decided to get a second opinion and decided I was not going to use them anymore. Called about getting a refund back to my account they told me I needed to come in with my id in order for them to proceed with the refund. Went in with my id to speak with office manager and she spoke to me in the front desk room. I sat in a chair behind the front desk ask she checked people in. People paperwork everywhere (hippa violation?) was told the refund would be back in my account by Wednesday of the following week. Went in a week later to make sure everything was completed. It was not even worked on. They never verified my id. Never asked to see my dl or anything. On the board behind the front desk is a target for them to reach for carecredit I assume that’s why they push so hard for you to get it. It was a very irritating experience all the way around.

After having four teeth extracted yesterday you'd think I'd be in pain, but there's absolutely none. I only had to take Tylenol the night of my dental work. Dr. O really knows his stuff. He and his staff treated me with the utmost kindness and professionalism. I'm a big ol' baby when it comes to dental work, and they did everything in their power to help me out. Had a lady hold my hands, offering whatever comfort they could even though I was obviously being ridiculous. I will always recommend this office, and if you have fear of dental work, just know this man and his staff will take care of you. Thank you so much!

My experience at Mt Pleasant Family Dental (EVERY TIME) is ALWAYS PHENOMENAL. It starts as soon as i walk thru the door. Im always greeted with a warm smile and a willingness to help with anything. The techs/assistants are super nice and make sure that you are calm and comfortable. Dr. O is The Best Dentist EVER. He is so patient and he makes sure you are aware of what he is going to be doing. I am so happy that he and his staff are in Mt Pleasant. I would recommend (and refer) EVERYONE to give him try.you won't regret it

My 3 girls always enjoy their appointments here! The staff is amazing & super friendly! They make my girls feel safe and makes it easy for them to cooperate in the appointment, especially my 2 year old and my almost 4 year old! My 14 yr old does just fine:)! I'm one of those that is terrified of the dentist. Kara and everyone there made me feel completely at ease and had me fixed up in no time. Very pleasant experience!

Family dental is place to go when your needing dental work the front office girls are very nice and helpful and the doctor is gentle when working on teeth I had a root canal done and I was never in pain with it I really like the place!

I got to see my favorite dental hygienist Kara! She is the absolute best! Very thorough when explaining & cleaning. I will never change RDH’s! Kara & Dr. O make a great team. 10/10 recommend them to any & everyone!

I’ve been a patient here for about 2 years and had a great experience every time. Team is friendly and efficient. Waiting room sometimes may be packed but never a long wait! Smooth in and out with the doctors answering all my questions/concerns.
