I don’t write a lot of reviews but these guys really deserve five stars.
Brought truck in and they gave me a quote to which I agreed to proceed.
When I arrived to pick it up and pay, they told me part of the repair wasn’t necessary (an original part was still good)
That took my total from $1150 to ~ $870
Its not often a mechanic tab is less than originally quoted!

Here’s the place you go to for parts and service you don’t need. My car wouldn’t start, I had to have it towed to Mustang Auto Repair due to it not starting. But once it arrived at the shop it started. I was then overcharged for a new starter I didn’t need instead of them checking the battery first, they didn’t ask me if I wanted to replace the starter. It was more than likely a dead battery and not the starter at all. Poor communication, very unprofessional. Will never go here again, do not recommend.

My experience with Mustang was excellent. Courteous, straight forward, and fair. The price was more than reasonable.

For years this was the one shop in Friendswood I always recommended to anyone who asked.until yesterday. I felt taken advantage of. I was charged for repairs I did not authorize. I told them the overheating was the priority. They did other repairs and I was charged over $500 just to be told by car is junk, but was told "hey your ac blows cold now. " Yeah.wonderful.when going into winter months on a car that needs an engine. I used to go to church with the owners of this place. Did Bible study with the wife and loved her. I really thought I could go here after getting messed over by another local repair shop I actually used to work at. In fact I had used them a couple times before and left a good review five years ago. That was deleted. I'm dissappointed.
