Mustang Motel, Big Lake TX

This is a great 'BUDGET' motel for work. Paid $225/wk. Manager at the the time was an awesome guy! Single rooms are fairly small but got used to it the week i was there for work. Did a little cleaning of my own to make it nicer especially the tile floor. Direct TV package, fridge & microwave. Bed was comfortable & clean with NO bugs! Double rooms quite a bit bigger with larger fridge. Highly recommend this old motel for work but not for people looking for the 'luxury' room sorry you'll have to go pay $150+/night at those overprice chain hotels.

Workers were creepy. Manger rude. Rooms were gross I found a cockroach in the room and the restroom showers were stained.

First ask yourself why the hell am I in big lake? NO HOT WATER! The single room was as big as a closet. You can hear every noise outside. The workers drag around a trash can at 6: 30 am for no reason. Heater in room was too loud to sleep. This place is not worth the stay. I would happily spend my whole per diem to never stay here again

Very nice owners, can tell they care about each guest. Always ask if they can they can make my stay more enjoyable. Recently renovated, HBO/Cinnemax/Telemundo free, new showers and bed. For the price, it is a great option for Big Lake and I will be here again!

Very clean property and excellent customer service! I believe it’s a husband and wife working here, and they treat everyone like family. Came here with some friends on the way to San Angelo, needed to stay the night but under a budget, and we were so glad we found this small gem. It is an older property, but the owners constantly renovate and try to improve your stay whatever way they can.
