My Kid's Dentist & Orthodontics, Humble TX

My kids have been patients for 8 years and the staff has always been very good. Hated to see Dr. Wilkes leave but Dr. Goodloe is great.

Children have to give consent to needle for numbing and if they don’t, which lets be honest what kid wants a shot, no treatment will be performed. They say this creates a positive experience while in actuality, it’s neglecting care. Because my child does not want a shot, they will not fix the health issue like cavities, fillings, caps, etc. We were prescribed antibiotics for infection and sent away with no guarantee that treatment would take place the next appointment because this rule applies for any treatment. You are not allowed to stay with your child, leaving the minor unaccompanied by their guardian. I understand that we are trying to change the perspective kids have with the dentist, but my child is 5 and doesn’t know what’s best for him. Parents have no voice and the children have it all to the point that it’s very concerning for the well-being of the children.

I made an appointment request online almost 2weeks ago and im still waiting on someone to call me or email me to schedule. I even left a detailed description on why i needed them. Not sure why it said they would contact in 24hours! Will have to take my business somewhere else! Its Very disappointing since i was looking forward to taking all my kids here since there is nothing but good reviews.

Always great service when we go. Heather is AMAZING! Always professional, gentle and provides my children with comfort from beginning to end.

**UPDATE **
We were patients of Dr. Wilkes. So when we came in for our 6 month checkup, we were a little nervous but we know we would be in good hands. Heather told us all about our new Dr. (Dr. Ayre). He was very personal and kind to the kids. We were in and out in good time too!
We won’t go anywhere else! Unfortunately our youngest had a bad interaction in the past so we were hesitant. When I explained what had happened in the past, Heather was absolutely amazing. She was patient and informative with all three of my kids. We had a great experience and now my kids love to go and get their checkups!

2021 review: My son was running full speed when he hit the pavement face first. I contacted My kids dentist and they were able to get him in right away. From setting up the appointment to finishing up the filling of his front tooth, we were treated with the up most importance. Dr. Freddie, Heather and Valerie were Amazing! This is why I will only go to My Kids Dentist! We have already scheduled our next check ups for all my kids.

We’ve been going here for six years where my kids are excited to see Mrs. Heather and have their teeth cleaned. The entire staff keeps the atmosphere light and bubbly, it’s a pleasure to be serviced by them.

Called 3 times to speak with office manager and was promised no more communication about other people's children.
Finally blocked the phone number and email addresses.
Too bad because Dr. Freddy was fabulous.

My go to dentist for my 8 year-old. Everyone is so versed in handling kiddos and quick efficient visits. Been here for 3 years now and will continue to use them.

My grandkids receive both ortho and dental care from this location. I want to extend our appreciation to Dr. Wilkinson, caring and professional, Jason, patient and very helpful, Heather, caring and kid friendly, and Aurora C, gentle, caring, patient, goes over and above to make sure her clients needs are met, easy to make appointments. Five star.
