My Pet's Vet - San Antonio

I’ve been coming to this vet place for 3 years now. I’ve never had any issues with them. Just this last visit I had to wait a while for the Dr to see Copper. Besides that no complaints.

I have been going to this vet for about 3 or 4 years and they are the best! They are always very helpful and quick to explain anything. Thomas does an outstanding job! Big shout outs to him!

I will no longer be taking my dogs here. Three weeks ago I took my adopted dachshund in (she was a stray, we took her in in December) for an initial new patient exam and spay consult. They told me that they recommended holding off on spay surgery for the time being, as they thought she might already be spayed, and to give it a few months to see if she has a heat cycle, which would confirm 100% if spayed or not. Ok, that’s fine. I had made an appointment already with SNAP for spay surgery for the following week, but cancelled because of what I was told. This being a new patient visit, they also gave her the distemper and bordatela vaccines. Which, would have been fine- if my dog had not been pregnant. Not a word to me during this visit that hey she might be pregnant, just lying to my face and saying they suspected she was spayed. I get home from work today, to my husband and mother in law saying she had a pup, that was a. Too large for her body so they had to assist in delivery and b. It was stillborn.

This all could have been addressed beforehand and us prepared for it if I was not lied to 3 weeks ago, and I could have proceeded with the spay. I will no longer be recommending this vet to anyone, nor taking my dogs here. Go elsewhere

I loved my visit. My cat probably not so much. I felt so comfortable with the staff. The last time I was at the vet I had to put my best friend to rest of 13 years. Going to the vet for a simple check up on my other best friend and my sweet angel above’s sister was triggering for me but the staff made everything feel so much better and everyone was kind. Thank you to everyone for helping me and my feline American Lee Lee. ️

I made an appointment every time but every time I come here I got another 30mins waiting. I had an appointment at 2: 30 and I been here at 2: 20 they let me bring my dog to the room and we just. Stay in the room for 30mins do nothing and finally 2: 50 a lady came in and she said she need to bring my dog to the back cuz the doctor’ busy? Too busy to see pet’s parents and just waste our time or u guys just racism? What the appointment for? Never gonna come back

Had a few bad experiences and ignored them but after today i dont think well be going back. They didnt have treats or take time with my scared dog. When i asked my questions the doctor was talking down to me and just seemed annoyed.

Wait time is ridiculous. The staff seems unorganized, facility is very small & outdated. You can overhear everything going on behind closed doors while waiting in the exam room. I overall didn’t have a good experience at this place. If you are looking for top notch customer service than this Vet isn’t it.

Just got off of the phone with, “Audrey” and she was very rude and unwelcoming. I tried to schedule an appointment for my sick 2 month old puppy and she literally said, “we don’t have the time for that” I’m gonna be speaking to the manager this is not okay.

Always friendly! And always willing to squeeze us in when one of our furbabies isn't doing well.

Friendly, informative and didn't keep me waiting, gave me tons of informative material and take-home goodies for my pup! I will definitely be bringing my adult dog here as well!

They were really kind and patient with our nervous pup. They gave her treats and loved on her. I definitely recommend.

I take my dog here all the time! The prices are reasonable and they give our dogs much love and attention as they need. I highly recommend this place because they make sure my pup is happy and healthy.

Very informative always quick and answer every single question I have. They are very affordable. Love all the staff. Always get a free exam with each new pet I bring and a new puppy package with preventatives, toys and tooth brush. All my fur babies come here. They also except care credit to help with the bill a major plus

We took my dog Hunter here and it went great. Staff is nice and always helps to answer all my questions. Thank you for everything!

Have an appointment and still have to wait. Once you join one of there monthly plan’s- I guess they get to you when they want not when scheduled. Very disappointed.

The vet assistant Thomas is what made our first visit our LAST visit to this location. He is rude and does not have an ounce of customer service. He needs to find a different career, working with dogs is not for him! This was my dog's first time at this location, so he was nervous. When I tried to comfort my dog to calm him down, Thomas said " Umm no, don't do that! You're telling him it's okay to act that way! " Ummm.no sweetheart, I am calming my dog down so this isn't a stressful visit for him. Thomas took my dog to the back to do a heartworm test and I could hear my dog whimpering and struggling with Thomas the whole time. A different assistant brought my dog back into the room. My dog had released his bowels all over himself. When Thomas came back into the visit room, he obviously had a chip on his shoulder. He tried saying my dog wasn't nervous when he did the heartworm test, but that he freaked out after the test. No, I heard my dog struggling the whole time he was in the back. Thomas should have noticed my dog's nervousness, if he were any good at his job. He should have brought my dog back to me and let me know he couldn't do the test. But he didn't! The actual vet was sweet and did a quick check up on my dog. But then Thomas waited for her to leave the room to say, "Yea, next time let me know your dog is like this so I can avoid getting my face bit off, because that's what almost happen! " Ummm. 1. That's not how you talk to customers. 2. You work with dogs! You could have muzzled him. You should know how to handel all types of dogs! But obviously, you are clueless.

Thomas find another career! Maybe something that doesn't involve your rude mouth! You are a lawsuit waiting to happen!

Vets here are good however the staff is not. Whoever is answering the phones is not doing their job. Maybe it's the same person maybe it isn't. It certainly sounds like the same person. I called ahead of time for my pets flea meds to be ready so I wouldn't have to wait, the girl on the phone said "ok? " Like I was bothering her. I showed up and of course no record of me calling so I had to wait. Another time I called for my pets shot records to be emailed to me, I never received the email, at this point I'm not surprised. Then I scheduled an appointment for my pet to get spayed and the day before the appointment I received the invoice which was almost twice what I was quoted! I immediately called to cancel the appointment and the next day i got a phone call and you guessed it.they didnt cancel the appointment. Honestly i can go on but its too much to write. Im really sick of the bad service of the staff and will be taking all 3 of my pets elsewhere. It's too much irresponsibility at this point.

What a wonderful staff! Baby's first visit went great. The office is clean. Plenty of treats️ and prices are very reasonable! Can't ask for anything better! Thank you all?

They took amazing care of my kitty Arrow when he became extremely sick. They let me come by before they closed to say goodnight and spend time with him which really meant the world to me. They loved him and made him feel safe. And they always provided me with updates and didnt mind me calling often to check in. Im so grateful to My Pets Vet!
